History:

Despite her wealth now, Mika didn't always grow up that way.  Like many in Brookfell, she started from the bottom, with little hope to improve her life.  She had to fight and hold her own in hopes of surviving.  Her family was poor, petty thieves themselves, barely having enough to scrape by.  To help her family out, Mika was forced to learn the art of conning, often acting as a helpless child, or once old enough, a helpless old lady.  For much of her teenage years, Mika kept up the ruse that she was a helpless old lady, and would rob those blindly when they attempted to help her.  With her long, platinum hair, it made it easy to cover her face, and even hide any makeup she would have done to sell the con.

On the night of her 21st birthday, Mika and her parents had received a letter from a lawyer.  Mika shook in rage and fear that her parents were being served, taking away what little they had to maintain their home from years of cons and work.  To everyone's surprise, her mother's father, who had disowned her mother when she came to age, had recently died, and as the only heir to her father's legacy, had left his business and a pretty penny to them.  It was a simple casino in one of the busiest parts of town, but it was run down and starting to lose business.  but the money left, there was just enough to fix the casino.  It took Mika and her family a while to figure out a budget, but after working things out with a company and being able to completely facelift the casino and save some money on the way was a blessing to them.  Her parents ran the casino themselves for quite a few years before Mika took over.

Present Day:

Despite the Nothing, Mika's casino has been considered a hotpot for not just the gambling scene, but for the night scene.  Extra care had been put in place to keep everything posh, but still inviting to everyone. Mika spends her time working in the bar of her Casino, so she can get familiar with regulars, get the feel for what guests want from their experience, as well as personally greet guests that have gone negative at her casino, using borrowed money to pay back borrowed money.
