History:
Despite his appearance, Zachariah lived off the streets like any other misfortunate orphan in Brookfell.  It was just the nature of the place, given the orphanage was a constant struggle to stay above water with the lack of funds to feed the kids.  He was just one of the lucky street rats to catch the eye of a surprisingly kind couple, otherwise he could have grown up far differently given the current day.  Near immediately after being adopted did he find himself moving to Grovehart to escape the hardships of the crater city with his newfound parents.  He had a knack for learning, and even more adept at physical achievements with his well taught self-care and athleticism.  His parents were pillars of integrity, always with him every step of the way to dream of a safer world.

When he could have chosen to be a lawyer, he went to law school and passed the academy to become an officer instead, fueled by this naive dream.  It would only be a few long months after did he get transferred to the BPD branch, (Brookfell Police Department), as an officer and crime investigator.  Of course, he would argue with his parents, but Zachariah's stubbornness eventually had them concede to the young man's wishes.  While his personal life didn't transition as smoothly, at least his work life made it fairly more simple once he landed himself a partially decent apartment--a very large step down to what he was used to, but he was already asking for quite a lot anyways in regards to the city.  The green man was usually the most hard working on the task force, and the same held true for Officer Draco.

He's known to be one of the more quick-witted officers on the streets, and even more quick to tackle investigations to lock the real menaces behind bars for good.  He was more of a people's man, supporting people when they needed help, or scolding them when they've done something immoral.  On the off-chance he considered jailing a person it would be at a point where the offender likely needed to be pulled off the streets anyways.  For ten years, he caught infamous criminals and murderers, shut down crime rings and illegal pokemon battles, and even ended years long crime mysteries to give the local people and families closure.  And yet, his ten years in service earned him a friendly nickname that kept hooligans on their toes and students safe when walking to school: Z.  Certainly this has placed quite the target on his back, but Zachariah didn't and still doesn't let the underground of Brookfell intimidate him.

It wasn't until he became an MIA officer did his world turn one-eighty.  A man with a heart of gold thought doomed as yet another casualty of Brookfell's streets.  Given the explosion three years ago, a missing officer returned months later amidst the new calamity of the Nothing.  As if his software was hacked to hide his whereabouts, there was no knowing when or where he would resurface, if at all, on the system.  All it took was a momentary blip of an SOS did a rescue and medical team find Zachariah in his Haxorus-infused state accompanied by an injured riolu.  The bright personality of the man somehow stayed alive, getting the health care he needed including a cleanse of his essential link's software and reinstallation.  On top of that, the chance to test the new suppression hardware was certainly a curiosity for him.

As if throwing himself back into duty with a new fire, Zachariah has been working hard post his return, having spent the last three years doing as he had been.  Since then, he's made it a habit to come to work with as little of his haxorus features showing as possible, and his new riolu partner has adopted a fused state as a cubone mix.  In spite of the challenges he's faced so far, he's certainly developed a few new insecurities, including double checking the status on his suppressor.  He doesn't talk about what occurred during the months he went missing, and doesn't seem ready to share the story still...

Misc. Information:

• Infused Form - Zachariah only ever turns off his suppressor when he’s at home.  More often than not, it may flash yellow simply due stress and overuse.  While he doesn’t explain why he hides this part of him, it’s easier to assume Zachariah’s doing it out of shyness.

• Jester - Although it's not common knowledge how their partnership came to be, Zachariah vaguely references a fire and an illegal network of riolu-fights, but he never truly expands on it.

• He dresses modestly, but if he really wanted to look nice there's no doubt he has the money to do so.  It's just not safe given where he lives.
