History:
Angelo grew up moving around the region of Reign's Rest with his parents, who were avid assistants at various dig sites and ruins scattered all around. At his 6th birthday, a young Angelo was presented with his first Pokemon: a Tyrunt he named Gummy because of how the Pokemon liked to chew and bite - and because of irony. The two were inseparable after that, and it taught the young man a lot about responsibility and hard work being worth it. To get the Pokemon worn out, they'd go for walks after school, or engage in playful battles with other young trainers. It was thanks to his parents and Gummy that an inkling of an interest in paleontology and anything relating to a dig sparked into a full on passion.

He worked hard and ended up one of the top of the class (third was still pretty good, even if not number one), ending up in his dream college and he and his Pokemon, a team of three by this point, ended up moving from Wintervale to Brookfell after graduation. When not at a dig site, he acts as a part time college professor, teaching in their archaeology department and helping with research involving ancient Pokemon.

During a field trip, there was an explosion in the mountains the news said, and then the Nothing came, and the Nera. His Tyrunt ended up fused with a Larvesta's DNA, which only made him more temperamental. Angelo still teaches, and still does research, but its been hard to do digs or explorations with the Nothing lurking around at night.
