Raelynn is a young artist living in Grovehart, collecting Pokemon to accompany her in her job: music gigs. She started out on the social networks, posting videos and audio clips of her singing and gaining a following through that. While her parents encouraged her musical career, seeing as her brother Micah had gotten to make his career with his, she was encouraged to take a safety net in a different career. She decided to do marketing because if she ended up doing well with her singing, she thought it'd basically mean she could apply her marketing skills to further that instead. Taking donations and requests on streams and the like, she gathered enough money to get her own instruments. Most of them were somewhat older, and well aged instruments. But nothing that a spot of love couldn't fix!
She taught her pokemon to use the instruments for her- if they wanted to- and she would sing along! Together, it practically went as viral as someone posting a video of a growlithe ferociously biting a cabbage. When her following grew bigger and bigger, she looked around at the cafe's and small theaters for live gigs. Despite the advancements of technology, nothing after all beat the rush and the vibe of a live concert. Her dream is to make it even bigger and rent out actual stadiums with holographic displays-- but she's happy at the progress she has made with her little pokemon band.
Raelynn found herself fused with a Skeledirge fusion not long after the strange pokemon seemed to come out into the Reignsrest region. A little firebird looking Nera landed on her on one of her days out in the park, singing softly to her pokemon as they rested in her lap, and almost instantly, it felt like its warmth warmed her soul. Her body and mind were open, and the connection was made immediately. Over time, the more passionate she became about her singing, the more of the fusion she grew. The scales were the first, a discoloration in her skin. Then, the tail-- a strange and unwelcome addition at first after she had woken up, seeing as most of her trousers had to be altered then to make space for the growing tail. Then, lastly, a little fire bird. She didn't know where it came from, or how it formed- but it did what she asked. What she wanted. She controlled it, somehow, and it was something that eventually became dear to her as much as if it had been alive in the first place. Her hair had always been a nice firey colour, but the fusion created the ombre effect of fire within the strands. She tried dyeing her hair once, but found it returned to the familiar fire colours the day after.

-- Raelynn is the adopted younger sister of Micah Morais. She was adopted shortly after Micah had left the care of their parents. He is her senior by 21 years and cares for her greatly.
-- She was orphaned at a young age, so she tends to gravitate to pokemon in similar situations, adopting them and taking care of them.
-- While her parents know Micah made it big, they don't know the full extent of it. She does, however, and often bribes him for her silence. He isn't threatened, but figures she could use the money for her own passions.
