History: It's hard to tell where he came from but Zoya isn't what he appears. He's got a long list of bridges burnt and risks taken, and continues to dance through life on the edge. He does it all for the promise of making it big, having an avid greed for gemstones that drive his actions. After a particularly bad fallout he's gone into hiding, taking up a post as a gemologist and jewelry appraiser in Groveheart. A new city, a new name.

Zoya's the kind that just can't help but poke the tiger though, and his sources brought him to a curious lad out in Brookfell that had a knack for digging. And what would you know, the kid's very skilled as digging up treasures! Zoya had to monopolize this resource, going as far as to get him the procedure to be infused with nera that would make him more durable - all for the small price of selling only to Zoya from thereon out. With a juicy ticket to uncovering literal gold, Zoya's begun investing in his new sidekick's future, as well as getting them into further trouble as Zoya's schemes continue.
