History: Kina and her twin moved around a lot while their parents ran the contest circuit, and it was an interesting and formative experience. While young, Phoenix found a litter of Espurr, and while he had found his partner Pokemon, the Espurr Kina had been given didn't get along with her, and so, to give him a better chance at life, the Pokemon was rehomed. As they grew older, Kina developed an interest in video games and how they worked, alongside her brother, and the two started formulating an idea for a business. Coding was her proficiency, and making something out of the jumble of words and letters filled her with accomplishment.

During a trip when she was older, she came across an Absol, and while a bit stand offish, the two of them just... clicked. She spent time feeding the Pokemon, coaxing it, and just spending time with it while they were in the area, and eventually, the Absol wouldn't leave her side. She'd finally found her Partner Pokemon.

University time rolled around, and along with her twin, she moved to Reign's Rest. The two of them 'founded' their game studio, ESP Studio, and to help earn some money, Kina took up coding projects for different people, and it was a challenge she thrived on. That was, until the Nera came. All the damage those things did made Kina switch her focus to helping make technology to keep the Fog at bay. She still loves coding, but there's something bigger going on.
