History:
Nycto was born and raised in the outskirts of Groveheart. As soon as he was able, he applied and started working in a research facility that specialized on Psychic- , Ghost- , and Dark-type Pokemon, of which Nycto worked with Dark-types, which he's always had a strange fascination for, and as such knows them quite well.

His research usually has him going out into dangerous places in the depth of night, so he is always well prepared in case something doesn't go as planned. When the Nera outbreak happened, Nycto learned early on that it was dangerous to go to near the strange mist than came along with it, but occasionally wonders what would happen to him if he somehow wanders in too far.

Nycto doesn't interact with other humans often, so he's very awkward to talk to. He wanders off topic easily, and tends to leave conversations midway, which can be found annoying. However, if you ask about something he's interested in, he'll be glad to explain what he knows in detail.
