History: Amos was born in Wintervale, a meek and sensitive boy. His upbringing was confusing, being exposed to horrors and trials by his father to toughen him up, and coddled by his mother to make up for it. All it gave him was a weird fascination for the macabre, and he found a way to channel those inner thoughts into writing. Through many attempts – and surprisingly, with help from his father – he formed a contract with a publishing firm. Though, he could not yet make a living off his books, so he found a parttime job in Wintervale's museum.

It was around this time that the fog entered everyone's lives. At first, Amos was frightened of all the disasters surrounding it, and having never bonded with a Pokémon, he was even less capable of doing anything about it. But as they kept happening, Amos felt more and more useless. When Groudon had been appeased, a certain little skitty+litwick fusion made his way into Amo's life. With his new companion, Amos felt a surge of courage and realisation that they could now be part of the happenings and help out.
