Isaiah Rank up | Silly Hat

How long had it been since Isaiah had done something just for himself. Entirely for himself. He was always doing something with others in mind. He'd work to find new jobs for Charm, he'd focus on what the markets throughout RR were like- he'd work to schedule drop off and pick up times for smuggled goods and work endlessly. Sometimes when he did have time off, he'd use it to play with Twiggy and Rio. He'd hold Spectre all the way until the man had evolved- but none of it was ever. For. Himself. Despite that though he had always had one box- a gift for him that was hidden underneath the bed.  Something just incase he ever did decide to do something for himself.

 

No one was supposed to visit him today, he had no scheduled appointments, everything was running smoothly- so. Maybe just this once, he could take a moment for himself? "..Spectre?" He called out the name of the large ghostly bird and saw how their eye opened to look at him. "Could you, get me the box that's under my bed." Isaiah asked softly and the pale bird didn't move right away. Their eyes instead just stared, watching him, thinking about it. If Isaiah wasn't a patient person he might have been annoyed by the wait, but he knew all too well the personality of this bird so he let them do as they wished. Eventually they did let out a coo in his direction and moved to obtain the box. 

 

It wasn't a fancy box, in fact it was quite dingy. Nothing more than some cardboard with tape. No one would look at it and think that anything important was inside, they'd think it would be filled with mere junk but for Isaiah it was filled with something far more valuable. Was it really okay for him to bring these out however? He had appearances to keep up. He was the scary, cold, ring leader of thugs. The one who would craft murders without blinking an eye, if anyone did come in when he had these out what would they think?

 

Spectre wasn't fully aware of his concerns though as he put the box down in front of his trainer. They were laying on the bed and when Isaiah didn't move the Dartrix fusion reached out to move Isaiah himself. Picking them up so that they would sit up and put the box directly onto their lap. Isaiah watched it for a moment longer before he gradually ripped the tape off to open it up and peer inside. 

 

Everything inside was still in perfect condition and a small smile graced his features as he pulled out the first item. A cloak- a deep green cloak with hints of blue and uselessly embroidered with golden swirls that looked to form the shape of leaves. It was the cloak of a druid. A character from a game that he would sometimes play but hadn't touched in quite some time. "...Spectre can you put this on me please?" He asked towards the large bird and quite willingly they took the fabric from his hands. 

 

It was soon wrapped around his shoulder and tied up so it wouldn't fall, a task they did while Isaiah dug further into the box to pull out a rather silly looking hat. It was the hat of a wizard, not exactly matching with his druid but Isaiah always liked the look of them. As such, the man had a wizard hat which Spectre took and placed atop his head once more. 

 

There was more in the box, but for the time being Isaiah just wore the cloak and the hat. Sitting on the bed quite happily as the pokemon fiddled with getting it all right. "Do I look good, Spectre?" Isaiah asked quietly as the pokemon finished getting the hat right and stepped back. 

 

He looked, silly. By all means he looked quite silly in the oversized cloak with a wizards hat sitting ontop of his already mushroom hat. The pokemon didn't make any such mention of it being silly though, they merely took a few steps back and looked over their trainers form before giving another quiet coo in his direction. They thought for sure that he looked ridiculous, but he was happy to see Isaiah at least doing something for himself. His trainer never did anything for themselves so this was a welcome change.
