Selene is 100% not one to willingly want to mutate pokemon/people, and also does not want to run around putting herself and her mons in danger. At least in ethos she thinks she can dodge most of that by being an errand girl, running books, information, and ect back and forward to various people. Which is what she is doing now!

She isn't happy with it, but she much prefers this than danger.
