Growth over the Years
Claws clicked on the tiled flooring of his home, curled tail beginning to wag back and forth furiously as he looked around the house. Aeson was still asleep, which left Knight awake with the two other pokemon, and all of them to their own devices. While Lil King seemed to be distracted with the orb that he held and could move around at will, it seemed Queen was playing with a large ball that their trainer had gotten for them for entertainment. Knight remembered when he was a puppy, all the chaos he would have gotten into back then, being just a young one, he would eat up shoes, try to chew on furniture, much to Aesons’ mothers dismay.
He smiled a bit, and moved to lay down on the floor closing his eyes as he thought and reminisced about his past a little. He was such a rambunctious pup, and probably annoying to the two human parents, but Aeson never disliked him for the little antics. Somehow knowing that he would grow out of them, that he could be trained to be good, to be confident. The smile never left his maw, his ears flicking once in a while to listen to the rambunctious pokemon.
He rolled over onto his back, a hefty sigh slipping past his lips, and his eyes looked at the ceiling now. Their first mission together, Knight could remember being scared but also being driven by his adrenaline. Again he had made mistakes that would jeopardize himself and Aeson, but Aeson never once asked to get a different partner, never once seemed to grow furious with him, instead it was always encouragement with scolding of where he went wrong, or even what he did wrong. After some time of thinking, he thought he heard a noise, one that sounded like two creatures getting into a tangle.
Knight rolled over and stood straight up, trotting over to Lil King and Queen who seemed to now be arguing over the ball that Aeson had purchased for them. With a cocked eyebrow, and a half smile, Knight sighed more to himself than towards the two pokemon. He placed his large paw on the ball, effectively stopping both of them from trying to get to it. With a gentle shake of his head, he looked at them both.
“You both really need to learn how to share, you know that. Not everything is black and white, and as comrades in battle, you will need to have one another's' backs. Don’t let petty things like this get between the two of you.”
The scolding caused both of them to frown, and look to one another almost a bit apologetically, but they had agreed to share the ball, which caused Knight to grin in their direction a little. The way he used to be, he wouldn’t have handled the situation like he did. He knew he had a lot to show appreciation to when it came to his trainer for making him into a better version of what he used to be. The two of them had grown quite a bit after all the years of being together.

Knight has reflected on his childhood as a little pup and how he has grown and become better over the years thanks to his trainer, Aeson. So much so, that he is able to help a slight scuffle between two of Aesons' other pokemon.
