Flowers on the hill
It wasn't often that Kite got out when it wasn't instantly running back to the water with his pokemon or too a nearby beach - And where he lived in Rivertide, that was never far off or too unlikely a situation. Otherwise, he really only left his home to hang out with Aspen when the man had the time or Cica when, well, the man had the time. Today, however, was a day where he was entirely on his own. Cica was over in ethermoor with his boyfriend and Aspen was busy for the next few days and he was beginning to feel stir crazy in his apartment, and he knew his pokemon where feeling the same. The expansive aquarium that made up 70% of his fairly large villa contained the peering faces of Woggle and Wiggly, two wiglett fusions who where obviously hoping to get out and do something. He leaned back in his chair, drumming his fingers on the chair arm before finally sighing and with a brush of the sensor, turning on the cybernetics that granted him vision. It was always over whelming but the dim lighting of his house definitely helped. He grabbed the balls for the two fusions pressing their noses against the glass before snagging them in the bright zapping light of their balls much to their verbally delighted shrills and squibbles. "Guess we go find something to do?" He mused to the two net balls shrunk down in his hand before shoving them in his pocket and grabbing his bag with his camera, journal and his beloved starter and he was out the door. He didn't have a car or even a scooter or bike of his own due to his blindness, but the weather was so nice he didn't even need a cab as he walked from the beautiful homes and cobbled roads of rivertide to the out skirts still protected by the beacons. A grassy hill like expanse covered as far as he could percieve and it was so tranquil he had to resist the urge to nap. It over looked the sea to the side and so he took the time to toss Bubbles out in the water near the beachy parts of the hill and the wailord fusion made a delighted whale song.
He rubbed a hand over Woggles head and then over Wiggly's as he let them out, Wiggly happily bobbing in the breeze and Woggle instantly creating a small crack in the earth as he trundled through it, following Kite as he roamed around, taking the occasional picture before he stopped before a thick field of wild flowers, native to the area. To say they where gorgeous or breath taking where understatements, they looked like a painting brought to life and the floral scent of it all was almost overwhelming to Kite, but it still made him smile. The thick, lucious vibrant colors reminded him of his home region of Alola and it gave him a warm, fuzzy feeling as he gently stepped into them with his tail dragging behind. Woggle paused before the flowers and honked before happily chomping down on one and Kite glanced over to see Bubbles peering over a cliff, his massive expansive face blank and full of love but also, curiousity. Kite gently grabbed a couple of flowers barely hanging onto their stems, either from other visitors or pokemon, and wandered over, first to stop and give some to Wiggly to examine and then to Bubbles, and he sat and leaned against their jolly, soft face, uncaring that it got him wet as he deftly braided them like his mother taught him how before putting the hilariously small in comparison flower crown on his beloved companion. Woggle had finally caught up and Wiggly had managed to scoot over, stopping to ensure the flowers got nudged along with him. Woggle coughed up a pile of flowers and Kite laughed as he turned all of them into gorgeous, albeit now damp flower crowns and adorned the other two fusions with them. It was so incredibly rare to have moments like these in this region now a days. There was always drama, and then the terrifying things Cynic was potentially planning had him and the rest of his organization stressed.. He had been working over time in the head quarters to learn what he could on top of his own job as a marine biologist.
He sighed and held up the final flower crown, slightly soggy with Woggle's saliva and peered at it. Usually he couldn't handle his vision for more then a couple hours but right now? As the sun was dim in the early morning sky, the wind was cool and breezy, the sound of the ocean behind him and some of his best friends surrounding him? He could finally stop and breath. He hadn't relized how much he had been holding his breath and tensing recently until he let it all out and he felt it so deeply within his bones and his very core. He reached his hand over to stroke Bubbles once more as he closed his eyes. Maybe a little nap wouldnt hurt..
