Help where needed

It had been a long time since Kite had been alone, by himself, in his house. He had roomied up with Cica so long ago and ever since then the persian man had become a presence that Kite hadn't realized he needed so badly. Sure, he didn't truly live alone. The back of his home was to the sea where Bubbles and his other companions played in a pinned in section in the water, and Woggle, Wiggly and his other wigletts stared from their specialized aquarium in his home, but without the presence of another person he really didn't know what to do with himself. He kept bonking into corners of his home that Cica usually warned him about, and he began to feel his anxiety rising. Cica had just gone to visit his boyfriend, and that was fine, he was allowed to do that. Kite kept reminding himself of that, that Cica was more then just his best friend and roommate.

Aspen hadn't been picking up the phone either or responding to his requests to come hang out, and so he was quietly walking through his own house, mapping it out in his brain after years of not needing to do so. He sighed heavily, it had been awhile since he had turned on his site ever since leaving it on for hours during a date with Aspen and it had just been so gorgeously overwhelming. Fire works and lanterns in the sky where vibrant, almost neon in his enhanced cybernetic vision and not being used to it led to him needing a long, exhausted break from it. He used it more like a crutch more then he liked rather then a resource for himself like it was. He leaned against the wall for a moment, the very one he had just bonked his head hard enough to short his suppressor from the startle from. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath through his nose. He could tell from the faint buzz of electricity that there where lights on so he traced his walls until he found the switches to shut them off. He'd manage to get by without Cica there for the few weeks he was on vacation - And once he knew the lights where off he turned on his eyes and took in the dim environment, now only lit by the lights of his aquarium casting a faint blue glow over the furniture before his eyes locked on the shelves and cabinets and walls - Mapping them in his mind as he walked around the room. He needed to get more adjusted to this. He walked through the dim house slowly, quietly and feeling every surface he could. His cybernetics proving to finally not be a crutch, but a resource to him to use, and some how, that made him feel worlds better about actually using them. The world was not always bright lights and neon flashes, he could manage this. Being able to watch and also hear his pokemon toddle around their aquariums or in Anabelle's case, roll around his bed as he entered, was a almost tranquil experience without the overwhelming brightness of it all. He just needed baby steps.
