The Easier Way

In Iris' opinion, it was a no brainer to take the bullet train. She had no ties to Cynic or Ethos, so at least she was neutral as far as factions were concerned, and the rhytmic thumping of the train tracks was much prefered to the constant screeching of the sandstorm that raged above. Iris had attempted to try and cross above ground, hoping to catch up with Anya, but the roaring sands were too much for her ears to bear. Thankfully, her pokemon put up no fight in getting into the packed train; with both Hera and Apollo quickly falling asleep to the quiet hum on the engine and Frostfall content to rest in his trainer's lap.
