-Event- Trains and cuddles
Klaus couldn't remember the last time he left Brookfell - Sure he had taken some vacations to Rivertide a while back but the constant drama between Ethos, Cynic and everything else in his life meant that he as mainly confined to his house as Axel and Salami worried about his safety. His tail curled lazily around his legs as he texted on his TD with one hand and the other was wrapped up in Spicy's fur, the pokemon having had this harness put on so he could stay out on the train with his head on Klaus's lap, snoozing contently. The large arcanine fusion chuffed in his napping state at the feeling of his trainer's nails running through his fur and Klaus texted off a quick picture of the snoozing pokemon to most of his contacts. The bullet train made virtually no sound and really didn't bump around as much as he expected which he was grateful for. The warning of a large cynic presence hadn't worried him much - That was infact the faction he had pledged too. The main thing that worried him was where he was going. Honestly he had not done his research before accepting to leave, and when rumors spread that it had more crime then Brookfell? Well.
He was worried.
Klaus was by no means a large, strong capable human being. He was short, slender, with virtually no physical strength to call his own. He relied heavily on those around him and his pokemon to assist him if things went awry. He anxiously moved his hand from Spicy, earning a grunt of protest, and felt that each of his pokeballs where successfully still on him and hadn't been picketed off. He started around at the fairly empty train before releasing Scotch as well, the typhlosion fusion staring around confusedly for a moment before his gaze settled on his trainer and he chuffed happily, going to also lay on the empty seats to place his head on his shoulder and covering Klaus's exposed side. Klaus gave him some scratches as he stared at the train's tracking app, watching their location. They had another few hours. The sand storms raged outside each time there was a break in the constructed tunnels that revealed the day light, and it didn't do much for scenery. "What do you suppose we'll find?" He asked his 2 pokemon, who just chuffed happily at being acknowledged by their trainer. Salami hadn't been willing to take off work and had instead insisted Klaus don't go, and Klaus would be lying if he said he hadn't partially done it out of spite of the man NEVER taking time off for them, and honestly he vaguely regretted it. He took a deep breath to steady himself and pulled Spicy's head into his arms and buried his face in the fluffy, warm fur and recieved comforting licks and nuzzles in turn. He grimaced as the train shook a bit going over part of the train rails and took another deep steadying breath. This was going to be a long train ride.
