Brawl in Brookfell [ Reflection ]
The air was cold and biting, it permeated through his being and frosted what skin was exposed, he had wished he wore something a little warmer than his usual attire which was a vest without sleeves that split after a waist band. He sighed as he glanced around, narrowing his gaze at the crowds that he passed. He got split up from Hiyori by accident, he wasn’t exactly sure how either, considering how large Bokun was, that shouldn’t have been that hard. While he wasn’t seeing Hiyori anywhere, Ryoya could hope that the male was in the upper parts of Brookfell and not in the lower parts where he currently was. With a huff of his own he turned to look to Bokun, who seemed to turn his large head in the direction of Ryoya.
“Looks like we’re stuck searching for him, Bokun. Keep your eyes out for flashing lights of any kind. Even if it’s just a sign; it could still lead towards him. I just hope that he’s smart enough not to get his ass grabbed by one of the strangers around here.”
Bokun didn’t seem to understand much of what was said, other than ‘flash’ because he knew that Hibana could do a multitude of flashes as well. He seemed to nod however, and walked behind Ryoya, making soft stomps with each step he took thanks to his own bodyweight.
It took them sometime as they traveled around the lower parts of Brookfell, often times running toward flashing lights for them to only be signs; or others using their TDs or something like that. No sign of Hiyori anywhere, and it seemed to be pissing Ryoya off. The longer they were looking the more they were just turning up nothing, and he growled under his breath. He was more than annoyed, his back was aching; he wasn’t sure why. Perhaps it was due to the way he stretched before coming out here, or perhaps it was due to something else.
What they hadn’t expected was to be jumped by a few other trainers that held their own pokemon, there looked to be three to four guys and Ryoya seemed to be their target. He recognized this group, they were thugs he dealt with before on one of his other mercenary jobs. He only chuckled when they seemed more than ready to take a swing at him and Ryoya shook his head.
“You picked the wrong time to fuck with me.”
One ran forward ready to swipe at him with a large dagger-like weapon, but Ryoya easily dodged to the side from the swing, bringing his knee up to strike the mane in the gut, and kicking him away once he had doubled over. His eyes were casted to the other three, but he knew the first guy wouldn’t stay down forever. The fight turned into basically a complete street brawl. Between Ryoya trying to dodge attacks, to kicking or hitting the men. There was a time when eh was shoved to the ground and held down, some good harsh kicks to his ribs had caused him to cough up blood and wince in pain.
He could hear his heartbeat in his ears, the rushing of blood through his body as his adrenaline pumped. His pupils seemed to slit as he started to give into feral mode. He didn’t fight this odd sensation swarming around him, warm and comforting. His back had ached worse, but it soon was relieved, as the thugs that had him down grunted when they were knocked back by the sprouting wings. Ryoya slowly rose himself to his feet, though he winced as he did so. His ribs had to be broken, and he held his die for the moment.
Bokun wasn’t fairing much better, during his battles with his opponents as he had beaten a few of them down, and gained some wounds on himself. Though he wasn’t as worse for the wear as his partner, and the pokemon he was fighting were finally all defeated, passed out on the ground with his left foot standing on the last one he knocked out and he smirked. His eyes looked toward Ryoya, he would have attacked this new stranger if Ryoya didn’t hold the same scent as he usually did when his wings were out.
The thugs seemed to narrow their gaze at him, as Ryoya stood up, seeming not to mind the pain his body was in, and looked towards them, a look of darkness over his eyes, as if he was possessed by his new transformation. His pink eyes seemed to glow in the darkness, and without much thought he was swiftly behind them. He only managed to knock out two of the thugs and inure the third and fourth one before those two fled.
He would have soared off through the sky to look for Hiyori but Bokun couldn’t fly, and he couldn’t carry his partner pokemon either. So instead he finally decided to do the smart thing and send a call out to Hiyori, he could track him using his TD while trying to connect to him through the cellular part of the device. Bokun followed him happily, though a bit unsteady and wobbly as he did so. The two of them would need to go to the hospital, but Ryoya would refuse until Hiyori was found.
He eventually found his friend by the largest sign within the upper parts of Brookfell, nearly asleep out in the open where he was surely a sitting target. Ryoya hadn’t expected to scare Hiyori enough to cause a sudden surge of emotions and to cause him to become permafused with his current nera either. Hiyori was too in shock to really speak, so Ryoya made sure to get the male to notice it was him and so they could get to the hospital together. They would surely be sore in the morning and Hiryoi might finally realize what had happened.
They both had completely different experiences, but one hell of a night that was for sure.

Ryora got separated from Hiyori and ended up in the lower parts of Brookfell where thugs and shady dealings are processed and fights break out at all times. Though Ryoya is used to this setting, he wanted to hurry and get back to Hiyori just in case he wound up there. A brawl broke out, causing him to go through a flurry of emotions, so intense that it caused a change in his body and he permafused with his nera.
+5 AXP to Ryoya
