Housing Together
Finn
He still regretted fleeing to Thunderdale, of all places. The city was run by Cynic, and he knew fairly well that Cynic had its fair share of dealings with The Spill. The hacked TD at least gave him some ability to hide, but knowing The Spill, that wouldn't change a damn thing. They would still know where he was and would still be able to track every step he took. There were eyes everywhere, and that was especially true in Thunderdale.
It wasn't like he could just get back on the train, though. Avoiding detection getting here was hard enough. He wouldn't be able to slip past a second time. At least he had managed to find a place to stay, but that wouldn't be for very long. Not with his shit luck.
Gods, he was tired. And in so much pain. Most of the time, he had been so numb to everything in The Spill that he hadn't realized how much damage it had caused to him. He couldn't stop his hands from shaking now, and even walking made him want to sit down after a while. Please tell me this gets easier, or maybe I should go back to The Spill. He couldn't go back. They would kill him, wouldn't they? He could already imagine the chewing out he would get from his friend if he decided to go back.
If he's even alive.
And what about Pidgey?
Why was freedom so lonely? He should be happy he was out, right? But how could he be happy on the mountain of lives he had taken? Where was he again? This wasn't even the right street. Honestly, he had forgotten the address. Again.
“Fuck.”
Takahiro
A scoff escaped him as he stepped out the train, Wonder wandering behind him with quick steps as the slouched male threw his hands into his pockets and just looked around with his eyes. He wasnt sure what Thunderdale really was outside an underground place that somehow belonged to Cynic, but he was there now?
A sigh escaped him as he started to walk around, continuing to slouch as his hair was a bit more ruffled up as usual, yet no care in the world could make him fix it right now. His reasoning to be in Thunderdale? He just wanted to get out for once. Yet the lightnings that he heard on the way werent what he was expecting, making him look surprised that nothing of the weather at the top coming through to there. ,,What they made the roof out of, huh Wonder?”, Takahiro taunted a bit, making the Zoruff yip at him, making him look down on her as she suddenly started running into a direction, making him just follow her. ,,Wonder, we dont have the time to play around you know?”, Takahiro said, why he said it?
He didnt even know himself, he had time till sunrise the next day, yet he still didnt want to waste it. Yet when in the greys of the city and its people, a bright orange colour stuck out to him, Wonder directing at it as he stood still. His brain was telling him something about that someone, yet he was unsure what exactly. Maybe he recognized them, maybe he just heard of them in the past, he didnt know as the amnesia wall kept being hit to no end. He slowly approached them, his red eye glowing slightly in the shadows that he tried to hide himself in a bit as the Zoruff tapped along elegantly, making him continue to eye him, was there a resemblance? Some sort of memory of him?
Nope, the wall again.
Finn
How he had gotten lost again? He didn't remember being this directionally challenged before. Then again, he was also new to Thunderdale; Brookfell, he had even known the directions of the mining tunnels. That had, of course, been due to Pidgey’s uncanny ability to map out the area. He had never gotten lost in The Spill because he had been there for so long, and there hadn't been many places he could go at first.
He breathed out a sigh, though Finn instantly froze at the sound of footsteps. Swiveling around, he reached one hand into his pocket, hiding the knife that he always carried. It didn't carry with it fond memories, but it had done the job in The Spill. The viewers liked a bloodbath; the more the crowd had gone wild, the less he had had to worry about. The less pain he had endured after the fights.
Finn glanced down at the small dog Pokemon, frowning. These two didn't look quite that menacing, to be honest. Sure, the guy was pretty damn tall, but he didn't seem like a threat. But wasn't everyone who approached him a potential threat? He carefully took his hand away from the dagger, choosing to just glare at the younger man cautiously. “Cute dog.” Yes, that was all he could manage to come up with. Conversations had never really been his strong suit.
Takahiro
Takahiro’s head tilted slightly as his ear twitched as he said: ,,Thanks.” Yet he had long noticed the knife in his pocket, even if he hadnt seen it, eyeing his pocket and saying: ,,If I were you I’d keep it where it belongs you know, might not come of good use.”
Wonder yipped at Finn as she approached him slightly, sniffing in his direction as she looked cautiously up and down. Takahiro on the other hand pulled his hands out of his pockets, revealing his mutated hands that were now more claws than actual hands, while he slightly straightened his back.
,,You dont fit in, where you from?”, he asked, not really curious about it, yet finding it off for someone so… outstanding to be in a city like Thunderdale, yet even as a visitor, he could tell that something was off on him. His head tilting slightly downwards as it tilted into the other direction, if he was menacing? He didnt know, since he was out for Cynic, he couldnt tell anymore what is supposed to be a threat or not, outside a invite for a fight.
He cant be outsmarted as he looked up and down the other again, eyeing the crystals on his tail as his brows slightly furrowed, yet looking back up at the others face, only then seeing said crystals from his tail also freckling his face.
,,Being outstanding in one way or another can be a downside, you know?”, he added and his glowing eye focusing on his bright blue eyes, was it a threat? Again, he was unsure, he just kept the eye contact, maybe to get through to him as he seemingly was seeing him as a threat.
Finn
Finn grimaced, pretending to not hear what the younger man had said. Perhaps it was a bit noticeable when he reached into his pocket. In Thunderdale, one had to be suspicious of everyone. At least, in Finn’s perspective, he didn’t trust anybody. He glanced down at the small dog fusion, smiling nervously at her. He didn’t really send out his Growlithe most of the time, seeing how scared she was of everything and everyone. He couldn’t really blame her.
After all, she had watched her mother die. The Arcanine that he had killed. The Arcanine that had also nearly taken his life. If there was one thing he never wanted to mess with again, it was a mother Pokemon defending her child. Those sick fucks must have found that real enjoyable to watch.
Finn realized this guy had asked him a question, and he had taken several moments of silence to answer. “Oh, uh…Brookfell.” Did he really stand out that much? Well, he didn’t have so many cybernetics that he looked like a robot, so that was probably part of it. “To be fair, you don’t fit in Thunderdale, either. Maybe more cybernetics. They seem to love that shit here.”
He had really only gotten his to stick out a little less, and he needed the TD to hide from The Spill. More importantly, to hide from the king-the one he had stolen from. That man scared him more than every single person in The Spill, combined.
Gritting his teeth, Finn glanced away. “I didn’t choose either of these Nera.” He hated making eye contact with others; it always felt like people were trying to read him. Of course, his heart always started racing whenever he maintained eye contact for more than a split second. Nowadays, he felt like he was always on the edge of panic. “The tail’s pretty good for accidentally setting things on fire, though.” Why this Nera had been given to him in The Spill, he could never understand. They were lucky he had never caught the oil on fire.
Takahiro
A chuckle escaping the lycanroc fusion, emotional was something else though as he looked at Finn and said: ,,Brookfell... where I live. I dont remember where I come from but honestly I couldn't care less." The tilt disappearing as he eyed Wonder, the little dog fusion looking up at Finn and sitting down, what she wanted, Takahiro couldnt really tell.
Yet his eyes shot up at the mention of him not choosing either of his nera, so he was right, the gems weren't part of his natural fusion. He said: ,,Choosing is weakness in terms of Nera. You gotta get it assigned." Why he was that opinion? That was what they hammered into his head all those years ago, only snippets of it in his memory as his head slightly twitched.
Again a chuckle escaped him as Finn mentioned the tail and said: ,,As long as you dont cook yourself or your pokemon." He looked at his Claws and then at Finn as he said: ,,These ain't that useful on the regular either, guess it all has downsides huh?"
He heard the others heart racing like crazy, making him look a bit... curious almost? Again tilting his head as his physique slouched a bit again.
Finn
So this guy was from Brookfell too, then? All the more reason to keep his connections to The Spill hidden. Someone from Brookfell would definitely know what that was, though many of the citizens despised the place. They also knew not to talk about it. “Brookfell is shit. I’m glad I’m not there anymore,” Finn muttered, making his disgust for the city clear. He didn’t have a home there anymore, anyway.
Of course he didn’t.
It had burned down.
Because of him. And his family had died. Because of him.
He didn’t want to remember that. He didn’t want to remember any of it. He would take it all back and return to The Spill if he could erase what he had caused by fleeing.
But he realized he had spaced off, yet again, when this guy had been talking. He needed to stop doing that. It was so hard to focus on people when they were talking; why couldn’t his mind just focus on the conversation?
Ah, yes. Nera. “I guess my Nera has served its purpose.” Like burning the faces of his opponents, or stabbing them when they landed on the crystals. Of course, washing the blood off had been frustrating.
“Say, do you have a place where I could crash? I won’t stab you. Promise. I’ll even toss out the knife.” He could always find another if he needed it. “I…don’t remember where my address is.” This was embarrassing. “Or where I put the key, to be honest.”
Takahiro
,,Its the only place I know, so it's better than nothing", he just answered non chalant, yet acknowledging the others distate of Brookfell, yet he also acknowledged the inner turmoil in the other, he couldnt know what was going on on the other male. Yet the slight scent change in the other showed that he was going through something.
He looked again at the others tail, saying then: ,,A good purpose I suppose." Again he looked the other in the eye as he then stretched his neck as the other asked him about a place to stay, making look at him from a bit up down on him as he said: ,,I might know a place, but you'd have to deal with it not having been visited in a while."
What he meant? He knew one abandoned apartment, how he knew it? He heard someone talk about it before, writing down the address and now taking it as a opportunity to discover a new city.
Yet he kept the eye contact and said: ,,And you'd have to deal with me being there too."
Knowing from other members that he apparently is uncomfortable to stay with, he rather wanted to mention it, so he didn't expect to be alone there.
Finn
Brookfell had been better than nothing, before he had been forced into The Spill. Perhaps that had still been better than living out of city limits, though; after all, he had had shelter there. And food, however disgusting it may have been. And his friend…but now he didn't even know where his friend was. He could be dead by now. Honestly, as much as he hated to admit it, having company wasn't necessarily a bad thing. He didn't really want to be out here alone anymore.
An abandoned building was better than no building, and he was pretty sure the rent had run its course in his other place. Which was all the more reason he needed to remember where the keys were. Oh, well, the landlord could make new ones.
“I'm sure it beats sleeping on the streets,” Finn replied, trying to muster the semblance of a smile. He knew he always seemed gloomy, but with the amount of shit he had been through, it was hard to even pretend to be okay. Perhaps making friends in Thunderdale would at least make it less miserable here.
He trained his gaze over the guy's shoulder, at least making it less uncomfortable to act like he was looking at someone's face directly.
“I doubt you're worse company than I am. I, uh…am not exactly a heavy sleeper.” He didn't exactly want to spell out that he had been told he muttered in his sleep. Or that he would wake up screaming. Or all the times he had woken others up with his incessant pacing because he couldn't sleep at all.
“The name's Finn, by the way.” Was it smart to tell a stranger his name? What if they recognized his name? Then again, if this guy had truly seen streams from The Spill, he'd know Finn by his looks alone. And he couldn't run or hide forever. One way or another, he was going to be found.
Takahiro
The bi-coloured eyes of the other continued to basically stare into his soul, barely blinking as he said: ,,That depends what you’re used to. I dont mind it.” Noticing the others gaze drifting away, making him realise only just now that the other seemingly was uncomfortable with eye contact, making him look down at Wonder, who has been sitting there the whole time, looking up at Finn as if she was trying to say something, but didnt get it out.
He then looked up at Finn again and said: ,,I sleep quite heavy occasionally, other times I wake up at scents and minimal sounds, that depends.” On what? He didnt know, it has been like that since he fused. Slowly he approached Finn and said: ,,Takahiro, people tend to call me ‘Pup’ though, maybe to downsize threats.” Why he was so honest?
No reason to not be honest, he was sure of that, when his TD suddenly popped up out of his left shoulder, making him look at it, a map of the area on it as he tilted his head slightly, orienting himself on it and saying: ,,Seems like we’re already close. You think you want to go in there now or still wanna wander around like a sore thumb within the City?”
His blue eye shooting to him, the other eye being basically invisible from that angle as the bright blue eye tried to read the other in their way. Wonder in the meantime actually got up and looked up at Takahiro, yet then approached Finn more and started sniffing on his leg, her ears twitching as her tail waved slightly.
Yet before he got an answer, the TD deactivated again and he started to approach Finn again, though it didnt seem like Finn himself was his target in that moment as he put his hands into his pants pockets, tilting his head a bit as the tail on his lower back twitched shortly, neither the jacket nor his shirt covering it.
Finn
He had to admit, he felt a little bit jealous at the ability to be a heavy sleeper. Well, he had definitely slept more before his time in The Spill. Now, every night was restless, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he would be attacked in his sleep. Honestly, it was a fairly valid fear to have, considering who exactly he had stolen from.
Finn shrugged at Takahiro, looking him over. Sure, he was tall, but Finn had also fought massive Pokemon without dying. “Everyone is a threat out here in their own way. I simply just don't trust anybody. Works better that way.”
Glancing down, Finn noticed that the puppy was still sniffing at him. He reached down to pet her, hoping she didn't mind the fact that his hands shook. He couldn't really stop that, though. Permanent effects from what had been done to him in The Spill, of course.
When Takahiro approached, Finn immediately jolted up and stiffened, as if he was easily ready to fight this guy. Approaching him usually earned this response, as he thoroughly expected people to want to harm him.
This expectation had been ingrained into him.
Takahiro
Wonder looked up at his hand, jumping slightly to get the pats earlier than normal, a small yip escaping her, yet she flinched as well as Finn flinched, looking confused though up at her trainer.
Takahiro on the other end stopped as he saw the others reaction, looking him up and down and saying: ,,You fought a lot?" He knew that some people tend to have those reactions when approached, his ears twitching slightly and he added: ,,As much as I love fighting, I rather not so in public if that is your intention in the end."
A slight sickening grin forming on his face as he added: ,,Plus I make no promises in that department." His red eye glowed up a bit more, yet it disappeared with his grin, the emotionless expression back in his face as he sighed and said: ,,If ya wanna join me, you should follow me. If not, then I can't help you."
His tail twitching again as he tried to continue to walk in the direction he wanted, towards the abandoned home. Wonder looking up at Finn, yapping at him and even jumping up his leg to indicate him to follow them as she jumped after her trainer, almost frolicking behind him as she walked with a wagging tail.
Finn
At the question, Finn frowned and glanced away. “Y-Yeah, I guess I have,” he muttered, trying not to say anything about what he used to do. He would love to forget the fighting he had been forced into, but the amount of scars he had wouldn’t let him simply forget. It was instinctive at this point, to expect people to be looking for a fight. He didn’t want to mention what happened to the other people who had let him stay with them; that had been in Brookfell, though. How could he shake the loneliness when he expected people to either hurt him or get hurt because of him?
Either way, he chose to follow Takahiro. He doubted anybody would come after a random citizen for harboring him, so long as they weren’t in Brookfell. The Spill at least had less jurisdiction out of Brookfell boundaries. Of course, he couldn’t be too sure of that; Thunderdale was run by Cynic. I can’t go back to The Spill, though. They wouldn’t let me escape a second time…especially not after I stole.
He glanced down at Wonder, smiling at her. Well, at least this Pokemon was pretty cute. He just wouldn’t send out his own Pokemon, as she seemed to prefer to be alone most days. Finn couldn’t really blame her; he doubted she even trusted him that much. “If there’s one thing I miss about Brookfell, it’s the sky. And I guess some of the food was pretty good. I don’t miss the sand and dirt all that much, though. Sometimes I do wish I could go back.” He missed the chaos he got up to in the times before he was thrown into The Spill; he missed looking up at the night sky, even if the lights blocked out most of the stars. Maybe he was a little homesick. However, going back to Brookfell meant going back to The Spill or getting killed. They weren’t going to give him freedom.
Takahiro
Takahiro listened to Finn, his ear showing his attention be turned to him as he nodded slightly, looking up into the sky of thunderdale to see the ceiling, making him say: ,,The sky can be something out there."
Wonder looked at her trainer and yipped at him as he started to slow down and seemingly fell into a slight stare, yet the yipping of Wonder made him snap back and he took a deep breath.
,,Maybe you can return home one day", Takahiro then said, while he internally was again trying to find some sort of memory of his own actual home, yet he threw that thought quickly and again the TD from his shoulder popped up, making him look at it as he started to look around a bit, stopping at one point and slightly spreading his arm to keep Finn behind him, Wonder slipping between Takahiro's Legs as she noticed why he stopped.
He took a deep breath slightly as he seemingly was watching something, or listening to something, his ears twitching and twirling around as he said: ,,We should be a bit careful otherwise your fighting knowledge will have to be useful." Wonder slightly jumping out as Takahiro then lowered one of his arms.
Finn
He didn't really think he could ever go back, unless The Spill somehow disappeared. And he didn't see that happening anytime soon. Plus, he didn't really have anywhere to return to. “Eh, I doubt it.” Perhaps he sounded like a pessimist, but it was reasonable to not step a single foot into Brookfell. Honestly, he wouldn't be surprised if the authorities of The Spill knew his every movement, even in Thunderdale.
He stopped, glancing over at Takahiro and giving him a shrug. “Well, maybe when they see who I am, they might be less inclined to fight.” Most people out here who did watch the streams knew who he was, and if there was one thing he was good at, it was knocking the lights out of people.
Takahiro
,,Never say never”, Takahiro said, yet his eyes shot up at Finn at his second sentence, laying his head slightly in his neck, now with wide eyes and saying: ,,From looking at you, whoever you are in that department, you dont wanna be that someone anymore.” Yet with that his gaze went in front of him again as he retreated his arm and started to continue on into a small alley, making him take a deep breath as he slowly approached a door. Wonder staying close to Finn, was it just her wanting to be with the heat of the others tail? Takahiro didnt know, but he wouldnt judge her, they hadnt been into a warm place since a bit.
In front of the door he pulled out a card and holding it against a very well hidden scanner, looking over his shoulder to Finn as he kicked open the door at the vibration sound of it opening. He slightly looked Finn up and down and then started to enter, Wonder directly jumping behind him as the lycanroc fusion held the door open with his foot, waiting for the other to enter as he slightly straightened his back again, his ears twitching in an attempt to listen if anyone was inside already, yet nothing alike came to his ears as he looked slightly around, sniffing slightly and regretting such decision right away as he then shook his head slightly, yet his expression didnt show any form of disgust or anything.
Finn
Honestly, he hadn't tried to set foot in Brookfell ever since he had fled. He wasn't sure what would happen if he went back, but he couldn't imagine anything good would come of it. He doubted his friend from The Spill would have stayed there; Pidgey, on the other hand…
But the last time he had seen her, they had been separated by a cave-in and Shadow Pokemon. Had she made it out? Had anyone else made it out?
And Takahiro wasn't wrong. Finn didn't want to keep fighting anymore; he was so tired of it. Sure, sometimes he had enjoyed it when it hadn't been to the death, but he had been miserable in The Spill. The freedom he had back then was limited to wandering around lower Brookfell, but he had never been allowed too far out. “You would be right. I'd prefer not to fight anymore, but some situations do call for it.”
Finn didn't seem all that bothered by the state of the place. After all, it still beat sleeping in an alleyway.
Eventually, he would have his own place. Maybe he should have stolen more from The Spill, but he figured his chances of dying increased the more money he took.
Takahiro
As Finn entered the place, Wonder jumped right past him. Takahiro closed the door behind the other and went past him as the inside of an apartment already was presented from the get go, no staircase up into a higher floor or alike, it was basically one big apartment, Takahiro’s slouch turning a bit straighter as he looked around and said: ,,Help yourself.”
Wonder yipped at Takahiro and then at Finn, as if she was trying to tell them to not seperate within the house, making the Lycanroc Fusion stare at her and say: ,,Then stay with him for now. You can do those decisions on your own by now.”
Wonder yipped at Takahiro again as she jumped towards Finn again, tilting her head up at him as the Lycanroc fusion went without looking around into a very specific room. Wonder in the meantime sat down in front of him and her ears straightened slightly, but one of them directly flopping over again as her blue eyes focused on him.
When suddenly the light went on and all sorts of technical devices turned on, one of which looking like a technological display, but wasnt attached to a humanoid. Takahiro then came out the room and looked around slightly, his tail twitching slightly as on the display that appeared earlier, a lot of his information appeared, yet he seemingly ignored it as he went towards another room, some rumbling being heard, what he was doing? Unclear, but seems like cleaning a bit up was one of the things.
Finn
He took a seat on the couch, hoping Takahiro wouldn't mind. To be honest, though, he was exhausted. It took all his remaining energy to force himself to stay awake, hoping that this guy wasn't someone else trying to drag him back to The Spill. Then again, he wouldn't have gone through this much trouble to deceive him, right?
It got exhausting being unable to trust anybody, and he almost wanted to let his guard down. At least for a bit. Takahiro didn't seem as bad as the spectators in The Spill, but then again, most people weren't. The richer they had been, the more uncomfortable he had been around them, and they had always treated him like an object.
Finn reached down to pet Wonder, hoping that he could actually get decent sleep here for once. It was doubtful. He closed his eyes against the sudden bright lights, trying to block out anything and everything.
Takahiro
Wonder jumping up with her head into his hand, tail wagging at the touch of the other and even pushing her front paws on his legs to keep herself up against his hand, sounds that sound almost like a canine replica of a cats purring came from the fusion as she pushed her head against his hand.
After some time Takahiro came out of the other room and then leaned in the door frame, saying: ,,You can take the bedroom if you’re so tired.” He didnt even have to look at Finn correctly to realise the exhausting in the other, yet he eyed the other, his eyes wandering from the others feet to his face, his blue eye focused on the other as his tail twitched again slightly, yet he added: ,,Or you wanna eat something, there seems to be some things in the fridge that are still edible to say the least.”
He crossed his arms, tilting his head slightly as Wonder looked to him and then up at Finn, yipping loudly at him especially at the mention of food as if she was trying to tell him to eat. Her blue eyes focused on him and something that looked similar to a smile was on the dog pokemon’s face. Takahiro’s eyes wandered to the Technical Display TV again and read what it said about him, maybe there were infos he didnt know himself? But nothing before he looked back at Finn, waiting for an answer as he eyed him, watching every movement and even sniffing slightly in his direction, maybe to remember the others scent.
Finn
He gave Wonder a few more pats on the head before glancing over at Takahiro. Would it be fine to sleep, especially considering the danger others seemed to be in when he was around? Sleeping in a bed had been nice for a while, even if the motel beds just gave him more back pain than he needed. But alas, he preferred to sleep closer to the front entrance; in that case, he could at least keep an eye on it.
“Oh, it's fine. I can sleep on the couch. Besides, this isn't the safest part of Thunderdale. I can just guard the door for a while.” Finn didn't want to specify that he was pretty sure people would hunt him down. He figured the king of The Spill might not waste his time, but there was a bounty on his head. Cynic grunts would just drag him right back.
Wouldn't it be fair to tell Takahiro? Then again, he worried about finding another place to sleep if he did. They would be safe tonight. Probably. Maybe.
Takahiro
Wonder enjoyed the pats visibly as she then jumped up onto his lap, curling together with her nose under her tail as she slightly got comfortable, making Takahiro eye her on the others lap and then looking up at him again as the other started talking again. ,,Nothing can happen here, they’d regret it the second they see me”, Takahiro said as he looked at the door, then back at him, a sigh escaping him and saying: ,,I’m not gonna repeat myself. Get up and get yourself a few hours of sleep in the bedroom. I heard its supposedly very good for people with back pain.” His head tilting slightly, looking back at Wonder and said: ,,You can take her with you too, she seems to like you so I trust you enough I guess.”
//At least to leave you alone//, he added internally as he twisted his neck slightly, making it crack as his tail wagged slightly again. He wasnt worried that he would backstab him, Wonder was usually good at telling that, making him less likely to start a fight in any way shape or form, but he knew he shouldnt just house random people, but something felt different. Something felt familiar, yet he couldnt put a finger on it as he again stared at the others hair, trying to remember what it was reminding him off, but nothing alike came to him as he pushed himself off the door frame and pulled out a pokeball, pressing the button and letting its inhabitant out.
A rock coming out of it, it was visible as a rock that a spiritomb usually housed in until its cracks started glowing blue and it revealed itself to be a Piplup-Spiritomb fusion, making Takahiro say: ,,Wander around.” The Pokemon started to look around, eyeing Finn with its spiral eyes and visibly growing tense, making Takahiro say: ,,Relax.”
Finn
Well, the offer was pretty tempting. He had probably gotten less than eight hours of sleep total in the past few days. It didn’t help that, when he did sleep, he usually woke up in a panic. The killing and nearly being killed in The Spill had never gotten easier, and now it haunted him. The first few months, he had been terrified; even after he had gained a name in The Spill, though, he had worried that the next fight would be his last.
He had grown used to not trusting people, too. Perhaps at least tonight he could try to relax, but that seemed impossible. He picked up Wonder, smiling a bit at the Rockruff fusion. However, he stopped in the hallway, feeling guilt claw at his chest. “I…stole from someone very, very powerful. If anyone comes around here, let me know. I don’t want it to be my fault that you get hurt.” Finn sighed, trying to skirt around the issue of who exactly he had taken from.
He hadn’t just done it for the money. It had been a stupid decision, sure, but it had basically been throwing a middle finger up at The Spill. And he regretted it as much as ever getting caught in the first place.
Takahiro
Takahiro eyed the other as he picked up Wonder and started to walk, the words ringing in his ears as he answered: ,,If they do come here, they ain't got a chance." He watched the other as the Piplup Fusion flew towards the door, putting its rock in front of the door as if it was trying to keep it closed in case anyone would try to open it forcibly.
Takahiro eyed Finn then and said: ,,Good Night. Wonder is a good pillow." Wonder wagged her tail happily as she was in the red haired males arms, Takahiro would almost call her behaviour "Puppy Love" Behaviour, which she only showed to people who had the right mind, which made Takahiro think the more he knew that his pokemon liked a stranger basically.
But he shook his head as he dropped himself on the couch and stretched his neck slightly. Stealing from a powerful someone, he didnt know anyone powerful to be scared of, but he still somewhat understood the other. Stealing didn't feel great more often than not, so stealing from someone who has some sort of power over something didnt make it better.
But he could handle anyone coming here. Finn shouldn't worry, but again he was wanting to know dekm who the other stole, yet he didnt wanna ask, the other was supposed to rest.
Finn
If only he knew who Finn had stolen from, but he wasn’t about to disclose that. He had already said too much, especially with how many Cynic members lived in Thunderdale. Fortunately, they would probably only know about what he had done if they had taken the bounty. And even then, he didn’t know what was on the bounty, or how much it was worth. Quite frankly, he tried to ignore that because he didn’t want to know.
“...Fine, guess I’ll sleep. Good night.” He took Wonder with him, not going to admit that having the puppy next to him would help him sleep better.
Takahiro
Following the other with his eyes one last time and perking his ears to listen to the other going to the bedroom he said: ,,Good Night."
He sighed as he looked one last time at Lore, who retracted back into his Stone to apparently sleep as well, he started to realise that he himself was starting to get drowsy, making him roll up together on the couch like a dog, his flexibility making it possible and comfortable for him as he stretched one last time over the whole length of the couch before staying small Like a child.
Finns Scent in his nose from the couch as he took one last deep breath and started to drift off himself within what felt like seconds.
