The rest of their walk passed by them swiftly.

Pesky still had all his hands full not collapsing every other step, but they made their way in a timely matter. Kurai smiled back at him, as they were on their way back. Back to the small pokemon.

Back to collect Thommy's accessory.

Maybe back to add a new friend to their group.

And Kurai really hoped the little guy was less nervous.

You know maybe it just ran off.”
“Why would it do that?” “Because it had food.” Pesky mentioned, climbing over a bench to skip past a corner of the path. Kurai chuckled softly. Avery next to him looking up with big eyes. The noivern fused Trainer pondered a moment. “I mean maybe, but we should still check. What if that is a new friend for us?” He picked Avery up.

The normal type pokemon instantly using the chance to relax in his arms.

No more walking for him.

Pesky caught up.

Would you even want to keep it?”
“What, of course! You've seen the lil guy!”

Yep!” Pesky snickered, petting Haruki as he started yawning into his face. “But you think Frida wouldn't eat it first chance she gets.” “Oh for sure not. She knows how to behave.” he hummed. “And she'd not touch that until it was cleaned.” he added quietly.

He had to make sure Pesky wouldn't hear after all.

Peaking around as they came back to the spot. Pesky pulling Thommy out of the backpack, squeezing and pulling his cheeks a bit. “Wakey wakey.” “You think he finds it easier?” “Don't you remember the bush anymore?” Kurai looked down at Pesky, who stretched Thommys cheek's more. “Do you?” “I mean of course. I made a screenshot.” “Wha- no. Stop that, you don-” “Oh totally did.”
Kurai sighed and looked to Thommy. Squatting down, Avery placed down on the ground next to him. “Hey can you help me find the little critter? You know the one that has your leaf.”

They both yawned in unison.

Kurai blinked.
Then sighed at Pesky's cackling.

Thommy lets get your stuff back.” Thommy nod and moved quick. Almost quicker than Kurai ever expected anyone to move. Finding the bush in no time. Stopping in front of it. Kurai followed and then lifted the bush in parts very slow and with utmost care. His tail snaking a bit deeper to have a better hold.

The sudden squeak followed by the biggest teary eyes they had ever seen.

Kurai blinked, quick to shush Pesky from laughing again.

Hey hey, sorry. It's just us.”

It scuttled a bit further back and Kurai blinked.
Thommy yawning again.

Come on guys, can't you help me out here?”
Pesky snickered and rummaged through his backpack. “One moment.”
Kurai looked back to the small bug pokemon that was still fighting with the fear of it's life. Having been shocked so suddenly. Thommy looked around. Sniffing.

While Avery watched Pesky placing down his camping set. Kurai sighed again and then carefully lowered the bush. “Lets hope it is not running away.” he turned to Pesky and the Pokemon. Twitching his tail a bit. “Oh what are you cooking?”
“Curry.”

Ohhh. What kind of curry?”
“Spicy.” He hummed, ripping open a package and pouring the insides into the pot. Kurai sat down and grinned a bit. “Better not. Who knows if our friend can handle it.” “Or if you can handle it, hmm?” “Shush.” “Got Screenshots of that too.” He gave back with a cackle.

Kurai was so ready to flip him.

But as Avery climbed onto his lap he was stopped effectively from doing it. Watching his friend cook. Chop a few onions and garlic. Stirring the curry. Quick to switch out pots to make sure the rice would be heated in time too in between steps. Thommy already asleep again. Curled up next to Kurai who pet him and Avery.

You got a plate for the little bug?”
Pesky shrugged.
“Why not just place a bit on the ground?”
“That is dirty!”
“Didn't bother it with the snacks.” he replied and licked over the spoon. Humming in delight. “I'm going to eat that all myself.” Kurai shook his head with a smile. “Oh no you won't. That smells too good.” “Well I'm the coo-”
“Wee-Weee-weet!”

They all turned to the small bug that had came out of hiding. At least a bit. Just enough to push the accessory towards Thommy who was still snoring away.

Kurai smile.

Oh hey lil one.”
Pesky slurped another spoon clean.

Give me a spoon.” Pesky blinked, handing Kurai a spoon. Who carefully placed a bit of rice and curry on it. Blowing on it. The little weetle watching up at them. Already nervously shaking again. But to Kurai's joy it was staying brave. Just watching him cool down the food before he placed the spoon close to it on the ground. “Here you go. If you want more just chirp up.” he hummed with a smile.

Quick to focus back on the food.

The weetle watching the group as they started to fill up plates. Haruki licking off some sauce from Pesky's shirt, as the handed Kurai a full plate.

Watching them eat and chit chat with each other. The pokemon chewing on their portions. Avery glancing over the weetle. Nudging a bit to try the food.

It took a moment but as it dared, the smell was overwhelming it a bit. Pesky cackled loudly at a joke from Kurai, who tried to shush him in the same breath.

Quick to move back again. Into the safety of the bushes.

Just to slowly move out of if. Eyeing the spoon.
Avery got up and nudged the spoon closer to the bush.

Met with a bit of a relived squeak from the other pokemon, before it dared to try it.

Kurai watching holding his breath.

Seeing the small critter enjoy the meal. Oh he couldn't wait to share so much more delights with them!
