Elijah, once one of the most influential men in Wintervale and Viggo's Partner,  wandered out into the night into a rage not long after the crisis with the fog began. He never returned and when he awoke he found himself without form and only left with a remnant of his former self - a mask with a familiar face and afamiliar feeling.  Lost to the fog, he tried to find his way back to Viggo in his new Yamask shape, only to find that he had changed with his encounter in the Nothing as well. Instead, he chooses to stay by Viggos side, knowing that he will always be there for him and will never leave his side again.
