Region Repair - Beetibite
Cain watched the excited little insect pokemon excitedly scuttle in circles, examining it's new self after finally managing to evolve. "Heck yeah little bud, congrats!" Cain congratulated the much stronger looking bug-type while Pip also gave a proud chittering noise praising their new wild friend. Upon hearing the praise the beetibite looked up at the trainer and gave a small thankful cry before pausing and looking off into the distance, it obviously had something on its mind. Seeing the bug's shift in body language he asked, "What's up lil dude?" but before the bug pokemon could reply the sound of a bird type screeching in the distance pierced the quite of the lush forest around them. The beetibite reflexively flinched and tried to scuttle backwards into the bush Cain had spent so long coaxing them out of. Realizing the beetibite was still afraid and that the only thing that had changed from evolving was the pokemons size Cain gently tried to coax the bug back out from its hiding place. "H-hey it's okay! That bird is far away besides, now that you've evolved you can handle any stupid bird that tries to hurt you!"
Upon hearing Cains declaration the beetibite cautiously peeked out from the bush once more with a small chittering sound as if it was asking him, "Really? But how could I possibly take on a bird?" Seeing the beetibite was willing to listen Cain hastily scooped Pip off his shoulder and placed his friend on the grassy forest floor between the two. "Yeah you definitely could take on a bird with those new powerful pincers! Here, Pip is- or well- he was a bug type too!" Pip greeted the teary beetibite with a nod as Cain hyped him up. "Despite his tiny size he can easily take on flying types! You're wayyyy bigger than him now all you need is some new moves and you'll be able to do it too!" The beetibite regarded the tiny joltik skeptically before cautiously emerging from the bush. If such a tiny bug could stand confidently out in the open surely a bigger, evolved pokemon like itself could stand proudly too. Cain watched as the two bugs conversed in their own language. He couldn't understand them but he had faith in his partner and was sure he would help the beetibite just as well as he could.
Cain watched as Pip gave instructions to the beetibite to take up a stance and brace itself while he did the same. When the beetibite mimic'd the pose he was doing Pip turned to a near by tree and after a few more words launched himself at the tree his mouth wide open. The joltik struck the tree with a powerful Bug Bite leaving a deep gash in the tree. As Pip landed and looked back at the beetibite its eyes grew wide in amazement and admiration. It gave a cry of admiration to which Pip puffed out his chest proudly for a moment before hopping over to stand next to the beetibite. Cain watched as Pip explained how to perform the move while gesturing between the tree, its powerful mandibles and its pincers on its tail. The beetibite enthusiastically listened, looking shocked when it considered being able to perform the move with not only his mandibles but also its tail. After Pip finished instructing it the beetibite hesitated for a moment before mimicking what it had seen Pip do. The beetibite launched itself at the same tree Pip had attacked and struck it with a Bug Bite of its own.
As the beetibite landed on the forest floor it looked up at the mark it made and its eyes grew huge in surprise when it saw that the gash it had left was even deeper than the one Pip had left. It turned to Pip and Cain and looked back and forth between the two while exclaiming excitedly. Cain gave a fist pump and exclaimed, "Heck yeah! What a hit! Told ya you were stronger than you thought!" Pip nodded his head in agreement as the beetibite's eyes welled up with tears once more, this time out of joy. It let out a loud thankful cry as it cried, thanking the two profusely for their help. As Cain comforted the bug pokemon again he glanced down at his partner who upon catching his gaze, gave him a wink with one of his four eyes. Inwardly Cain chuckled in amusement, well aware that the tiny dragon had purposefully barely put any power into his attack so that the beetibite would perform better in comparison. Well it was all for the better, maybe now that the beetibite knew a new move and was more self confident it would be able to walk these woods with more confidence too.
This Pokemon is now a lot more confident thanks to all your hard work! Help teach Beetibite some bug-type moves to really up its self-confidence!
