Sunshine heavily down on their fair city, Ahimoth walked along the shore of the beach, the waves crashing quietly against the soft sand that threatened to tickle his feet and slip into his sandals. Ah he didn’t mind though, he felt free. It had been too many years since he last walked on the beach of Rivertide, his long white hair flourished a little in the whipping wind, and his pink colored eyes closed. He knew what he wanted to do there at the beach, even if he was alone and didn’t have his swimming buddy… he could still enjoy what wonders the beach offered.

Ahimoth was quick to change out of his clothes, being left in the swimming trunks he had purchased. He didn’t need snorkeling gear anymore, due to being fused with a water nera , it allowed him to breath while he was within the murky depths of the ocean. With a hum, he allowed the waves to roll over his feet, giving him a feel of the water’s temperature. It didn’t seem to be too cold, it still caused him to shiver either way, it was always colder on the surface than it was deeper in.

Once he was done being prepared, Ahimoth dove into the water, letting it wash over his body and kiss his skin as it slipped over his form. Body sinking into the depths, he began his search. He looked for sea-shells, things that he often collected, as well as any other missing items that he could sell or harvest for himself. He swam further down, going further in the depths of the water. He still didn’t have his partner pokemon, but that was fine! He did notice something shiny and shimmering, each one that gained his attention he would pluck it from the seabed, while trying to be wary of the pokemon that called the ocean their home.

He stayed under the water for a while, almost a few hours, as his hair flowed around him like he was just walking through air. He held elegance about him, finesse, and calm.

“This one is a good one,” he muttered to himself, being careful of plucking another shell gently from the seabank.

The webbing on his hands helped him shift through the ocean, his form exposed for the jelly-fish like half he had. He did finally finish looking for shells, he didn’t know how long he had been under the surface, or how dark it was getting. The setting sun on the horizon as the darkness threatened to take over the beach, he knew that he’d need to get back to the hotel he was renting in Rivertide. Unfortunately, there was one key problem, as he wafted toward the beach, his jellyfish half splitting into two appendages, and shrinking along his body to form the skin of his legs.

It was still slightly painful, but Ahimoth got used to the pain, and he walked back on the beach, some of the sand sticking to his semi-wet form. His hair laid flat, threatening to cover most of his body, which it did due to its length. He yawned, and made his way toward his clothes, only to notice something was wrong. Where his clothes were they no longer rested there, and there were small tracks leading from the spot. He could see in the distance a little wonky creature doing its best to waddle away with the clothes in hand. He could feel a vein almost pop out on his forehead.

“Hey get back here!”

The shout seemed to gain the little pokemons attention because it tried to waddle away faster. Ahimoth took off after the little thing, catching up to it wasn’t too hard, due to it being slow. Ahimoth went to dive for the creature, but it jumped away from his arms, dropping his shirt as he quickly tried to walk away, being able to go a little faster due to the less weight it held.

“You’re not getting away!”

It took some time to chase the little creature away and picking up articles that were dropped each time he tried to get the little pipsail. When a pokeball dropped from his clothes, he tossed it at the small creature. It hit the pokemon with a thud, before the light took in the creature’s data.

The ball wiggled three times, each one slower than the last, and eventually a red light that faded to gray could be seen, and a ding sound was noise. He had caught his little monster, and Ahimoth decided that day.

“I’m callin’ you Snatcher.”
