Is there a hobby your trainer enjoys, perhaps a trail they like to travel upon? There is always a way to distract the mind both in and out of city life. Maybe they stop by a shelter nearby that fosters injured pokemon to take some time to play, or spend the afternoon reading up on the recent literature drops on how combees could ever take flight.

Draw or write your trainer doing what they can to pass the time!

Even the cake wouldn't be enough huh? Salami saw how it didn't help to appease the Slazzle in the slightest, they still looked just as upset with him as they did earlier which was a bit conflicting. He didn't think this place was that bad. And it meant they had gotten a few more minutes together which he would have assumed was a good thing?  But it didn't seem to be the case and infact they even verbally were to dis the cafe. Oh now that was a little bit rude...

Salami snorted slightly as he were to say that they didn't have the flavors he liked and in some ways, he felt a little challenged. "You judge things too harshly." He said lightly as he were to ruffle his hair before he turned himself around. "John!" He called out the name of the old man in the corner, one who had been reading a paper but looked up and over with a bit of a sour expression as well.

"I'm not going to get in the middle of your lovers spat" he said cautiously and Salami were to just give a small laugh.

"No no no... I wouldn't want you to either. No~ John i merely would like the help of Vanilla Bean and Frosting." It was a common request from Salami and the older man sighed heavily.

"What will I get from it for letting you use my pokemon?"
             "Absolutely nothing as per usual~"
             "Great..."

They grumbled, but soon a vanillite and an Alcremie were brought out of their pokeballs. Both were pedigree pokemon, and both looked excited about the fact they were called. Salami looked over to Klaus and his two little pokemon as they came out. Did you see this? Did you still think he couldn't make you what you wanted? Salami had a point to prove now and he was determined as he went behind the counter to start making a drink.

Klaus rolled his eyes, heavily, powerfully, bitchily. To say he was now in a full blown mood was a understatement. In a normal event, yeah, this place was quite cute, it did have a good air to it, and he'd enjoy it, but he picked upsetly at his cake before pulling Spicy and Serrano out of his bag. He hadn't seen a no pokemon sign and he gave the magikarp another long look at the statement of him judging things too harshly. "You knew that before you started dating me." He grumbled, settling the two small pokemon on his lap. He loved them so much, they where just so small and cute. He let them put their paws up on the counter as they snuffled around, spicy even managing to grab a few mouth fulls of whipped cream before Klaus gently moved the plate away, and thus away from him. He didn't know what kind of cake it was but it didn't look like cheese cake so he suddenly decided that was going to be an issue too, pushing it away a bit more as he snuggled into his pokemon, his grouchiness increasing at the comment from the older man.

Spicy let out a territorial growl at the other two pokemon suddenly popping out, he never would do anything but the little cyndaquil fuse was very vocal, and Serrano began wagging his tail and whining excitedly, desperately resisting the urge to try to play, but Klaus's hold on them was tight enough to prevent an incident. He rolled his eyes again as Salami looked over at him after looking at the two pedigreed pokemon. How would someone want an ice cream cone for a pokemon? So ugly, but he'd never comment that out loud, pressing his face into Spicy's neck ruff, changing the growl into a happy purr.

He did know that before they started dating~ It was true Salami couldn't argue that but who was to say that didn't mean he wouldn't still poke fun at them for it? No matter if they were like that now he still did think they would be happier if they didn't think so poorly of things~  With the agreement of John to let him use their pokemon he was feeling quite confident about being able to recreate one of Klaus's favorite drinks. Although the growling of Spicy and the excitement of Serrano was not exactly welcome and did earn a slight side-eye from the fish-man. If they attacked or bit either of these pokemon there would be problems.

Still though, he hoped that they would stay in Klaus's hold and soon he got to work. he was masterful in his making, adding flourshes to his every movement- not at all in an attempt to maybe impress his boyfriend or at the very least amuse them. The two pokemon working with him to try and create the perfect cold drink. Salami had gone to enough different cafe's with Klaus to be able to determine what they liked and how they would made, and while it perhaps took a bit longer to make than someone who did it every day all day--- it was still an attempt and the end result didn't look half bad! Picking it up excitedly he went to go place it down infront of Klaus with gusto. Sitting up straight and crossing his arms with quite a proud expression on his face. "Are you sure you don't want any drinks?" He asked. The two pokemon behind him also puffing up proudly as they had helped to make that drink.
