Time to Run!

To say Axel wasn't surprised to get pushed out on a wierd mission to another town just around the moment his employer had been in a whole mood was an understatement, he expected it. He trudged through his small apartment, somewhat sourly packing the things he'd need and huffing a bit, which was unusual for the ghost typed trainer as he was usually a blank mask and reserved as can be but the fact he was being punished for his employer's arguments with his parents was... Upsetting, to say the least. He stared out of the window wearily for a moment before continuing to pack, he didn't need any special clothing for Rivertide's weather but the thought of the bustling streets of the lovely town made his skin crawl. He sighed heavily, shaking his head as he got ready to go out the door. He needed to meet up with the magikarp trainer whos name he still refused to believe was real, but he wasn't one to judge alises or nick names, they where important in this industry with the looming threat of vindicators, vigilantes and more. He pressed his way out the door, smacking his head on the door frame as he went and wincing as he continued on. He was beginning to get used to it, when he had fused with the nera that slammed into him during a mission 2 years ago, he had grown significantly and it made his life harder.
As he walked down the street he began to question many of his choices in life, as the sun beat down on his back heating the black leather jacket he refused to take off, cringing as people in the crowded streets seemed to squeeze closer to use him as shelter and he resisted the urge to grumble about it. He got to the meeting point moments before the awaited time and instantly began somewhat pacing waiting for his companion to get there. The man was never late so he didn't have to worry about that, but he still made a point of making an impatient grumble as the man wasn't magically 30 minutes early.

Axel might have been grumpy about where it was that they were meeting, but for Salami- there were other much more concerning things. Within this city it was starting to become overrun with the starts of the misdreaveous migration. It started on the north side and was steadily moving south, and it was following close on the foosteps of Sashimi. "Shit. Fuck. Bastards--" He hissed under his breath as he ran through the back alleys. "Coming through! Out of the way! Get the fuck out of my way!" His shouts were loud and he yelled at everyone who he came past.
Having arrived at the north end himself, Salami had found himself in the middle of an entire group of the misdreavous fusions- and he had accidentally antagonized them. It wasn't like he intended to, he had merely been walking and went to get past them when they had started to chase him- and they weren't letting go of him. While he had hoped to leisurely stroll and enjoy the trip through the town that was no longer an option and he just tried to hurry up to get to where he was meeting with the other man. An attack came above his head and he ducked down below it, rolling forward across the dirt ground before continuing to run. He was nearly there, they would just be around the corner wouldn't they? Salami scaled up a wall and as he looked down he saw the impatient Axel waiting. God was it good thing they were early. While Salami wasn't as early as they were- he was still 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
"Hey!" He called out to them as he were to drop down beside them. "No questions right now, just run-" He reached over to pull at the jacket of the man. It wasn't a rough pull, he wasn't strong enough to genuinely pull Axel along with him but it was enough of a gesture to try and give the impression that they needed to run. Now. And it was an impression furthered by an explosion behind them. Instead of going above the walls, the pokemon had decided to go through it and five misdreavous fusions could be seen sputtering angrily. Aiming their next attack at the both of them.

Axel glanced over the moment he heard cursing and scampering behind him from even down the street, and when he saw the shadowy attacks from a horde of ghost types, he understood why. The man, being a ghost type himself was instantly on alert and when Salami grabbed his jacket to run, he needed no further prompting. You see, one of ghost types main weaknesses was ghost types. He c ursed under his own breath as he ducked out of an attack, an incredible feat with the man standing at about 8 feet tall and making him an incredibly easy target. So he took Salami's advice, and ran with it. Literally! He made no move to grab the other man knowing from years of working with him that he was beyond capable of keeping up as he had many times before when missions had gone awry.
He hissed as a particularly aggressive shadow ball splashed into the wall next to them as they ran and the debris of it enough was to make his skin feel like it needed to be clawed off of his body. What a horrible feeling it was. He had no pokemon that could defend him and he knew the other man had a few puny fish that where as capable of fighting as a wet piece of cardboard, all they could do for now is hit the ground running and try to plan an attack when they got to safety

Salami continued to curse the entire time that they ran. In many situations while they were being chased he might be able to find some fun in it- but five angry pokemon? That was a bit more difficult to deal with and as the debree were to rain in their direction the Magikarp made sure to use Axel as a shield. He kept himself positioned so that the shards if coming at them would hit him and Salami could remain safe.
As they got a bit further he did turn to run backwards a bit. They were falling behind just a little- presumably getting tired of the chase but it wasn't over yet, the Misdreavous migration was in full swing after all.
Every year a Cloak of Misdreavus migrate from the harsh climate of Wintervale to the warmer Deadlands around Brookfell. This migration is usually haunting but beautiful at least from a distance. The fog has made things difficult for the now fusion-ghosts as it pushed them off course and into the busy and lively streets of Rivertide.
These usually calm-natured Pokemon have become panicked and angered, they have started to take their agitation out on everything and anyone around them and they are becoming increasingly aggressive in their actions. They are scared and acting out in fear, they will attack you but we need to get them out and back onto the journey to the Deadlands.
This mission has a high chance of injuring your trainer or pokemon with Wounds, Infection, and System Viruses
