Move Learning - Fire Lash

To say Klaus was a mediocore trainer was an over statement. The young adult had never known any form of hardship until he was told if he wanted his own pokemon he needed to move out, which he did still on his Parent's dime, and after his parents had been called on their bluff they had panicked and provided him an even larger allowance as well as varying house servants to take care of his every need. Yes, he truly had no idea the hardships the rest of the world went through, but at this moment? You couldn't tell him that. He was in hysterics, sobbing and holding the head of his beloved starter who had performed the horrific act of evolving. Klaus hadn't known that pokemon could do so, and had been convinced he'd have his puppy sized starter forever and this was all very traumatic for him. The little pup had only recently just learned Ember when defending his trainer from the somehow relatively low level, push over of an Onix, and that had been all fine and dandy but now this?

 

The young pup had gone from a measly 20 lbs and the size of a small dog to standing at nearly 5 ft, weighing over 230 lbs, and while he was just as soft and silky he definitely didn't fit in his trainer's purse anymore, and while Spicy should've been upset with how his owner reacted, he simply tried to comfort him the best he could at the time. To add to this hardship, however, was now that they where out. He had been brought out with his trainer to be groomed then pick out new leashes and harnesses since he had outgrown his old, and now they stood, lost, on the outskirts of the cities as his trainer failed to get a good enough connection to figure out where they needed to go. His ears twitched before he started snarling as another pokemon skulked out of the shadows - A Mightyena and 2 pups that stayed in the shadows and watched their matriarch size up a possible meal in the well groomed Quilanine, but he puffed the fur on his back and snarled and bore his teeth all the same, ready to defend his freaking out owner with his life. As Klaus frantically tried to find something to throw at the beast, Spicy simply lunged into battle. He threw himself at the other, tackling into them before it became a scrabble of small, spouted flames and claws and teeth. As they threw Spicy off of themselves, now lunging for his brightly colored trainer, something snapped in the pokemon and fire spouted in thin streams from either part of his maw as he slammed forward, whipping the flames into the mightyena as it wrapped around the now screaming, fearful pokemon and burned into their fur and with a final bite and some kicks, the injured, barely alive dog pokemon was limping off, whining and crying.

 

He felt arms around his neck moments either, and as he licked his owner's tear-covered face, he was content in knowing that his trainer's safety was his number one priority and always would be.
