Snatcher Spit that out!

Ahimoth frowned, eyes centered on his partner pokemon, hands resting behind his head and he walked forward a bit nonchalantly. He was walking through the city of Wintervale, sporting his usual wintery-like outfit. It was a fuzzy coat with a soft, warm sweater shirt underneath. His pants were reaffirmed with cold resistance material, and therefore it kept his legs warmer than usual. His hair was out and free-flowing, fluttering whenever a cold breeze hit his face and caused a chill to run down his body.

“It sure is cold,” Ahimoth mumbled under his breath. There was something that walked with him, the shadow looming over him almost menacingly, but the creature was anything but menacing unless you were a pokemon that was.

He sported his little bandana wrapped around his arm, and his head cocked to the side, long snout barely coming into Ahimoth’s peripheral. “What’s wrong Ahimoth, are you bored?”

Seeing eyes looking at the outfit he was wearing, and how he was bundled up with that curious look, Ahimoth sighed. “More like a cold,” he said to his partner, and he sighed a little himself. “Perhaps we should look into getting something warm?” He asked his Spirimast, whose head seemed to tilt again. “Like Hot cocoa?”

The spirimast smiled at his trainer, and nodded his head quickly, causing his frill-like spine and eyebrows to wiggle a little. “Yes, yes, hot cocoa sounds amazing!”

“Alright, alright. If you behave.”

Once they were at a small cafe-looking shop, Ahimoth entered since the Spirimast was too big, and got them two hot cocoa cups. One for himself as a human, and the other large pokemon sized for the Spirimast. He exited the building, holding the larger cup out for his friend to take.

Snatcher did cautiously, the smile spreading on his face and revealing more of his slightly dark yellow teeth. In no time, the liquid was sipped on, despite the heat it brought with it. Both were quiet as they sipped on their cocoa and continued to walk. They were heading toward home, but there were other things distracting the two.

The hot cocoa was good but short-lived as the temporary warmth it offered fluttered through their systems almost as soon as it entered. Ahimoth sighed and tossed his cup in the trash, Snatcher doing the same as his human and tilting his head again. He noticed that Ahimoth didn’t seem very satisfied, and he inquired.

“Are you alright, you don’t seem to be, Ahimoth.” Snatcher's gaze stayed on his trainer, worried for his health and well-being.

Ahimoth let out a groan, hands behind his head and a sigh leaving his lips, "I just want to go home and relax, it's too cold to be outside today."

After stating that, Ahimoth did stop at another store, going inside and purchasing a few small things to take back to the house with him. Little did he know while he was doing so, a pokemon moved in front of Snatcher’s snout, right in his blind spot but his feelers picked up on the movement. Like his instinct, his jaws opened and snapped on the creature that was moving in front of him. He could feel the struggling creature and the tickling sensation of the small legs on the roof of his mouth.

What made it worse was the horrified owner of the pokemon, shouting and causing distress while calling over the nearby officer that was walking down the sidewalk. By the time Ahimoth came outside, there was an officer threatening to force the jaws open, and seeing his baby looking so confused caused him to grumble another sigh. There was no talking his way out of this one, so he’d need to explain everything carefully.

“Now, Now, now,” Ahimoth offered a smile to the officer and the frantic trainer. “I’m sure your pokemon is fine. Snatcher has… sensitivity issues and he can’t see in front of his snout very well, it's a blind spot for him. So if something goes in front of his face and touches his feelers, it's a defense mechanism, he meant no harm by it.”

“How do you know~” The frantic trainer asked, eyes narrowed at Ahimoth now as she looked at him. “Don’t tell me you’re the owner of this I'll-manner-”

“Ma’am,” The officer sighed, and held out a hand. “The man has a right to explain his friends’ behavior. First, however, could you have him spit out the pokemon?”

Ahimoth rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Yeah I’ll have him spit out the pokemon, then I’ll explain everything better.”

Ahimoth then turned to Spirimast, who looked at him with curious eyes. “Snatcher, spit out that pokemon you’re holding onto right this instant.”

“Yoush mensh I can't have him for suppersh?”

Getting the feeling that Snatcher was asking him a question, pouting in a way, Ahimoth shook his head. "You can't eat him, he belongs to someone else, Now Spit him out!"

Snatcher unhappily opened his mouth, letting the small pokemon, which was a  typed fusion, quickly it went to its trainer’s side.

Once the pokemon was freed and checked briefly for any major injuries, both people turned to look at Ahimoth, “Alright, now that he’s spitting up, let me tell you how he is and why he eats others. He usually spits them out once he tastes them!”

Oh boy, just his luck, finally caught Snatcher trying to eat another member’s pokemon, this really was his stroke of luck, wasn’t it?
