After the events in the Crevice, both from the spewing lava and the ghost Drifloon that followed, it wasn't surprising that in such a short amount of time the Nothing also started acting up after three years. On the edges of the Grovehart City, many Shadow Pokemon had emerged from the Nothing's veil, and caused for a call in action.
Diana held a close eye on Vewil as they approached what she could only now consider a battlefield. The Nothing had encroached on the cities and towns, threatening the status quo. Many trainers and their companions had already attempted to quell whatever anger the Nothing had spewed out at them in the form of enraged shadow pokemon. She had heard from Micah that a certain someone had tossed their Rotom at one of them and the small Pokemon had gotten beat in turn for it. Diana wouldn't make that mistake.

She watched as others battled the pokemon around her, gesturing for Vewil to pick a target among the masses. Vewil was strong- a true veteran in a fighting field- so she was confident that none of the shadow pokemon stood a chance against him. A small pokemon made its way toward them, seemingly swimming through the air. The Seviper batted it away and Diana stepped back so as to not interfere. She could see that it seemed to be a combination of a Skrelp and... something else. A Feebas, perhaps, with the way it had what she could only describe as a handlebar on the top of its head.

It moaned weakly and charged towards the Seviper again, but Vewil had it covered. The Seviper bared its fangs and spat poison at it- which the Shadow Pokemon dodged with no effort required, since it was floating and all. The pokemon was skittery, nervous, fast-paced and while Vewil knew how to fight- fast and small pokemon were somewhat of a weakness to him. It didn't take long from then on for it to manage to squirm its way around the Seviper and target Diana instead. The woman had to duck with a small 'shit' to avoid its attack. She was a little too late, however, and got hit against the head. Luckily for her, she had a Nera soul of her own, so any damage that it did to her wasn't as hard as it would have been to any other regular trainer.

"Oh you little--"

She started, reaching for her wristband- a suppressor of her own Nera. It removed the limit of her own energy, allowing her legs to form into the familiar naga Seviper snake tail and forming the snakes around her head. The snakes helped it calm down, a sort of ghost hypnosis falling over the Shadow Pokemon as it paused in its tracks. If it wanted a fight, it could get one.

"Take this!"

Diana curled around and her tail followed, striking swiftly against the Shadow Pokemon as it had swam through the air towards her. It let out another cry- and Vewil cornered it on the other side. He wrapped around the Shadow Pokemon, capturing it in its Toxic Thread to keep it in place before Diana used her own abilities. Between the two of them it didn't take long for them to subdue it.

With the pokemon captured in a way, Diana had shifted back and tied her hair back with an annoyed huff. The last thing she wanted was to drag attention to her, but it had to be done. She walked over to Vewil, who had replaced the Toxic Thread with his own coils, tightening whenever the Shadow Pokemon tried to escape. The ghostlike snakes in her hair were still there, captivating the Shadow Pokemon to a point where it was only slightly squirming in the Seviper's hold. It was a small fry, and they weren't done in the area either, but something about it... made Diana think twice about it.

"I suppose we'd best find a way to ensure you don't go around causing any more trouble."

She mumbled to the small Pokemon, earning a whimper in return before she reached in her bag and took out one of the special Mistballs issued for capturing these. She had planned to go for something big and powerful- as someone of her status and capability should- but that could come after. There were still many Shadow Pokemon roaming around, and many, many more able to be caught. Aiming the mistball at the subdued Pokemon, she opened the ball and let it do its job.
