Salami had Kevin to try and handle the little Charitten who had broken into the cafe while he tried to figure out his game plan. The window had been broken through when the little shadow pokemon had noticed his presence and made eye contact- and there was no way for him to try and close it back up. The noise of the ongoing battle and the shattering glass, the cries of the two pokemon and everything about the situation would ultimately draw more shadow pokemon in his direction.
Nervously Salami tapped at the counter he previously hid behind. This was why he hated the fog, he hated these pokemon, they only were troublesome and his lips curled up slightly. Right now there was just a small one, but he knew far larger and far more terrifying variations of these creatures existed out in the world. There could be very large, very dangerous pokemon out there ready to ambush him and he didn't have any pokemon on him who could handle the larger threats. He needed to get out of here, and he needed to get out of here quickly. "Kevin" He called out to his little Goldeon a bit nervously, they were taking longer than they should have to finish off the charitten and it was making him nervous.
He was right though to be nervous as soon a new pair of pale pupiless eyes were staring through the dense fog to look in his direction. Just as he had done before, he found himself making eye contact with them. Oh for Arceus's sake... thankfully it was kept low to the ground, the eyes looked small and that meant this thing wasn't one of the bigger threats. That was a relief to say the least and with a heavy breath Salami reached down to pull out another pokeball and toss it out. He wouldn't leave it to Kevin to try and handle two of these shadow pokemon on his own, so he called upon George to come out this time. The fish-like pokemon thanks to their Tynamo half didn't need the same bubble of water as the other did and came out much more gracefully. She looked around excitedly with the monocle hanging down off her face and it nearly made Salami want to groan. Why did all his pokemon get so excited and cheerful about meeting others?
"No, George, this is not a friendly meeting." He gave the same warning out to her that he had to Kevin and he could see how her little brain was trying to make sense of the words as she turned to look at what was causing her trainer so much distress. The shadow pokemon that had crawled its way in wasn't an impressive sight either- although perhaps saying it crawled in was the wrong word. It flopped in? It swam in- it simply... entered into the cafe. It's body was quite small and round like that of a Tympole, but it was taking on a rather distinct heartshape. Ah. They were a Luvpole then perhaps? A Luvdisc that had been fused with a Tympole?
George wanted to figure out what it was but another low hiss from her trainer behind her caused her wandering mind to sharpen. It only sharpened for a moment but that was enough as she looked down towards the pure water-type shadow pokemon with a fierce glare. It flopped back and forth on the wooden flooring of the cafe, steadily making its way towards them and really, it wasn't threatening. If Salami really wanted no doubt he could simply step over them but something within the Magikarp-fused trainer didn't want to simply leave this thing flopping around. If it was infront of him, and he had the means- he wanted to get rid of it plain and simple. "George!" Her name was called again.
Salami was growing impatient by the simple staredown. Kevin was almost done with his battle- Salami hoped and so that just left the Tynoach to try and handle this one. Once more George sharpened her mind for just a moment. She wouldn't let it wander again and with a small cry sparks of golden electricity sprung into life. She wouldn't go in to attack right away, she didn't want this poor Luvpole to suffer at all before it went. Unlike her trainer George pitied the shadow creatures a little, and as such she had to charge up first. Gather as much electricity into herself as she could so that when she struck it would all be over soon.
