An unexpected Rodeo

Things had not gone quite as planned, for a long moment Honey stared dumbfounded at the limb snake-like pokemon before him. He had thought this would be easy- that the Mimichu would fall before them easily but instead three was the one who fell. The oversized snake was quickly returned to their pokeball until Honey might be able to get there somewhere safe and while he debated on trying to get his revenge against the pokemon he quickly decided against it. Clicking his tongue he watched as the pokemon lunged at him- and as it did he himself quickly ran away.

Even with the dense purple fog Honey had traveled throughout this area of the Brookfell often enough to know it like the back of his hand and without any hesitation he quickly ran to scale up the rocky cliff of his left. If one of these pokemon took down Three then he wouldn't stick around to let it go after the rest of his pokemon. He reached the top of the cliff in no time and as he peered down he found that he couldn't see the ground. It was too heavily covered by the fog so if that Mimichu tried to follow after him he couldn't tell. He would just assume and hope however, that it did not.

With some degree of grace Honey pulled himself up onto the ledge but before he could take even a single step he found himself tripping over something within the fog that rested up here. He fell forward with a startled yelp, slamming face first into the rocky ground with a low groan and as he looked behind him he could see another pokemon staring at him. There eyes were empty and blank, and somehow they looked just as surprised as he did over the fact they'd been tripped over- but then it registered in their mind. They had been tripped over. Honey could see the surprise quickly turning to anger on their face and he let out a low groan.

It looked a lot like a caterpie, its body was segmented with a little cross on its forehead while it's tail was more pointed like that of a wurmple. Honey would assume that perhaps this one was a fusion of the two, a caterple? A wurmpie? Ah, he liked that. They were a wurmpie. It reared its little head angrily and Honey scoffed as he pulled away, fumbling in his pocket he pulled out a new pokeball and tossed it into the air- releasing a little pale purple noikyu who fell down quickly to land on the bug-type shadow pokemon.

Seven wasn't one that had been particularly trained for battle but he hoped that they would be able to handle their own and at the very least buy him a few minutes to heal up Three. Honey prayed infact that they would be able to handle them, it was just a simple little pokemon- and thankfully they seemed to realize the task. While Seven was a very friendly pokemon the little bug shadow pokemon wasn't as keen of having someone dropped on it's head and let out a surprisingly fierce snarl. It raised up on it's little legs to try and throw Seven off but the fake noibat mimic merely wrapped their 'wings' around the creature to hold on tighter to it.

It was a rather funny sight as Honey watched it, it reminded him of those trainers who would ride the back of Tauros the way that Seven tried to cling on while this thing jumped and bucked. It was enough to where they seemed to distract it at least and Honey was not feeling threatened at all. Quickly he pulled out the pokeball that held the fainted Three in it, releasing it and squeaking as the large dragonair mimic nearly pushed him back off the cliff with it's mere presence.

He rarely ever used pokeballs, preferring his pokemon to run free so where exactly they would appear when called upon he never knew. After regaining his balance he casted another look to the squabbling pokemon and watched just in time as Seven was thrown off their back. "You got this Seven!" He called out, trying to be a bit encouraging as they distracted the Wurmpie. They didn't have to fight well, which was a very good thing because they weren't fighting well if Honey were to be honest. It seemed to be taking all of their strength to simply hold onto the Wurmpie and the shadow pokemon was getting more and more upset about the fact it hadn't tossed off the Noikyu quite yet.
