Poe got distracted, let go of the boat while Mera and Link were still on it and they got brutally injured after taking on a frontline mission.  After seeing the hospital bill if she got fully treated, she just got her cheap surface level examination and decided to rest it out at home.  Mera is attempting to use potions on herself, they aren't doing anything.

Mera instructed Poe on how to make soup, which she messed up by hugging the bowl.  Mera is pretty pissed at Poe right now.
