Honey was feeling on edge. Extremely so infact and for the time being he sat up high on the rooftops of the Brookfelle slems, his hand raised up to his mouth, allowing for him to start chewing on his nails in unease while his eyes scanned the surroundings. He had them modified by Isaiah so that as he looked around his eyes would recognize and pull up the information on anyone he saw. The mechanics within them whirled and while they usually were a purpley pink for now they glowed in a dull red coloration from the change in their settings. He watched as people wandered down below, going about their daily life with his legs hanging off the edge. Everyone was so... carefree for the moment. So peaceful and calm- none of them were feeling the stress that Honey was quite yet. It wasn't really like him to go after someone close to his age or younger, his aggressions were more so reserved for those older than him who thought to look down on him but there was one person. One very determined, persistent person who was steadily grinding down his nerves.

A member of the K9  Cop Squad that Brookfell had- and one that had every night been chasing him down to chew on him. He gazed up towards the sky and could see how the sun was slowly on it's way to setting, which meant that no doubt that bastard would soon be on their way to try and find him but this time Honey was ready. He was up high where he had the advantage and could look down- and he had his eyes set to recognize anyone he looked upon. If that Linoone bastard  of a cop crawled his way anywhere even remotely close to Honey he would be able to spot them and then run for his dear life. Or at least, that was the hope. He ripped off a part of his nail by accident and glanced down at the finger that now was slightly bloodied with a frown. He just hoped at least it would work, he really never knew what to expect from that overly exciteable man but he would do his best to escape their clutches this night at least.

Seth should have just been your typical cop or police officer, but the fates had always had something different in mind when he came to Brookfell to join their law enforcement and honestly? He wasn't the biggest fan of his role, being treated like a cog in a wheel but his mentor, a large booming arcanine mix always saw the bright side of it. "You'll learn to find people you love doing this with!" He had beamed, "You'll find things that make this job worth it." While for the longest time, he hadn't believed it with the quiet, monotony of chasing people down, getting checkups for his heart, chasing people down, being yelled at, rinse and repeat. But now? He was beginning to find something in that category - A petty thief, visibly not that great at what crimes he was caught committing, enough to the point where they hadn't even bothered arresting him the first time he had caught the man and they hadn't even filed paperwork.

So here he was, having escaped from his partner once more as he roamed the streets and despite the lights, it would've been too dim for many people to roam but with the enhanced night vision from his fusion, having long since blown out his supressor today, he was making it a breeze and long since had lost his partner with it. He was looking for this particular 'criminal', why? He thought he was cute, it was so embarrassing. The man was honestly beyond cute and made Seth's brain feel a bit fried when he saw him and then he made the best noises of surprise ever, his tail began wagging more intensly at the thought even as his face flushed. His tail was wagging way too hard as the slight breeze made his job a bit harder, tail thumping against his pants  he caught something and it was only vaguely concerning. The ever so slightest familiar iron scent of the other man's blood, he knew the smell from the various cuts and scrapes the seemingly clumsy man seemed to get often even without being chased and he set off in the direction of it.

As he got closer his ears twitched, listening intently when he heard quiet breathing and he glanced up and about, and while he couldn't see the other man yet, he knew he was around, and that was enough to get his tail going harder and his ears perking. Finally, the only good part of his job.
