The chase was on. It was the same chase that seemed to happen every night and Honey was desperate as he scampered across the rooftops to try and avoid this fate. "Can't you just leave me alone tonight?" Honey asked towards them. "I'm tired- do we have to do this? I'd rather not you fucking bastard just go away?" He shouted the words behind him so very hopefully as his feet stumbled over a stray tile. It slowed him down only for a moment but Honey stood up just as quickly to jump over another rooftop in hopes that maybe Seth would stumble on that same tile then fall off the buildings themselves. These paths were known to Honey like the back of his hand and he took a rather sharp turn to the right, climbing up a taller building and jumping up off of the edge to reach the bridge of Brookfell's next level. The nice thing about Brookfell was that there were so many different layers of buildings, by going to the top of one building you could jump to the next layer- and Honey swayed as he landed on the crickety bridge. This wasn't a stable bridge, it was known for breaking infact but Honey was careful enough to keep it in tact as he turned to now try and jump at the walls of the next nearest building and climb ever higher.

Seth wondered himself why he insisted on chasing them but the rush as he chased after them as they bolted and he gave chase and stayed as hot on their tail as he could, and his instincts urged him on despite the discontent they visibly showed. If they hadn't wanted him to do so, why had they made it so easy? It's as thought he had waited there for awhile with how heavy his scent in the area was which wasn't the behavior he expected from someone who absolutely hated being chased, but whatever the reasons was he was loving every moment of it.  He felt his heart racing and his blood rushing through his ears as he fairly easily followed despite slipping on a stray tile for a moment and stumbling, he wasn't the most precise man but he still gave his own effort.

They spoke with him and his ears twitched, they really had a nice voice didn't they? It was really nice, and he liked hearing it just as much and despite that he didn't know the streets super well, their scent was enough to keep him on their tail. He did hesitate when he saw the bridge and so with as much balance as he could he vaulted over it, attempting to either land right behind the man or grab onto him, if purely to actually protect himself since his brain told him that the bridge would've crumpled from the extra weight.

Honey had hoped that he would be able to make his way up to the next building, that was his dreams, his goal, his plan!  He didn't have the same joy and excitement that Seth did, he just had that need to get away. Just keep going higher and higher and twisting and turning, take riskier and riskier jumps and maybe he'd be able to lose them. The bridge was the first of his risks and he assumed they would know it wouldn't be any good to follow him onto it instantly- but before he had even managed to reach the next building he heard it creak and cracks from the weight of another landing upon it. The unsteady planks under his feet twisted and the distinct sensation of it twisting as it strained itsself. The shake its self was more than enough to throw Honey off balance as he let out another squeak.

They didn't really jump on here did they? They waited till he was off it right? That was his hope but as he was stumbling forward he felt their arms grab a hold of him and the sound of the bridges cord snapping. It broke with the weight of both of them on it and gravity was quick to do it's job. The two of them were pulled down from the height towards the ground and Honey yelped as he also felt his hopes crashing down to the ground to break. Their arms were around him but he gave a low hiss as he turned to try and kick off at Seth. He needed them to let go before they hit the ground- He could land safely if they would get off of him and his actions while they fell reflected the desperation he felt to get free.
