Event: Awakening - Preparation

Things had been a mess. Honey was on break for a moment, just enjoying his time resting as he laid down across an old couch with his phone held high above his head. A small, round, pink corsola fusion was seated on his chest happily and he could feel them almost rolling off before they would catch themselves but he didn't reach down to steady them. His attention was fully caught by the newest craze. That craze being video's of Groudon spreading all across the internet and he honestly couldn't help but admire it.  That pokemon was genuinely a terrifying force of nature as fissure's broke open and while he really shouldn't be relaxed by it he found it interesting to just watch. As if whatever bad thing in the region wouldn't be able to affect him- until he saw a particularly small pokemon appear in the video and his eyes narrowed. That.. looked familiar didn't it? His eyes narrowed before he quickly started to zoom in on it. Was that, one of Salami's pokemon? It looked like one of the fish that idiot of a man sometimes had but surely he wasn't down there. He couldn't quite focus on it too intently though as a message popped up in the corner of his vision- a text from Seth that made him groan and forget his curiosity.

 

The phone was dropped down onto his stomach, landing on Four who had just managed to steady themselves and the new weight caused the very round pokemon to roll off. Which was good, because Honey sighed heavily and sat himself up. He didn't care much for this job- sure. He now worked as Seth's partner in the K9 Corps but honestly his heart still lied with robbing people. Not saving them as he was now tasked to do according to the man but he knew just how big a sad pathetic fuss would be kicked up if he tried to ignore it. Seth claimed this was better than their usual job, but he just wasn't sure. All aspects of his new day-job generally fell to the same degree of enjoyment for Honey. "Come on Four, We've been called." He mumbled quietly as he picked up the poor Corsola that had rolled off and held them in his arms to leave the station. 

 

Seth didn't tell him where they were sent- but he could still track them all the same so it wasn't hard to figure out where it was they had been called to 'rescue people.' What would he need for this... Groudon had done a number on everything in their surroundings- he had seen it in the video's so quietly he made a checklist. Burn heals, bandages, potions, stitches, maybe some revives- Would Seth remember to bring all that? He didn't know for certain so he made a quick stop to try and gather some up. Four still squiggled in his arms and carefully he set her down, watching as she went to go and grab a stick very proudly in her mouth. That... wouldn't help much would it with this? But she seemed to really think it would help in their task.".... Very good." Still Honey praised them with a pat on her head for her attempt to do something useful before he went to the outskirts of Brookfell. 

 

Seth was around here somewhere, and as he wandered through he caught sight of the neon pink through the tree's. Perking up he hurried his steps, not running so fast that Four would be left behind- but fast enough to catch up with the man as he saw them with a little Toxel. It didn't look to be in too great shape and Honey bounded his way to come up beside the man and peer down at them just in time for the burn heal to be applied to them. "Do they need anything else aside from the burn heal?" He asked as he saw this poor critter and heard squeaking from the ground behind him. Four was seemingly wanting to try and talk to the pokemon that Seth had managed to find and Honey didn't stop them. He didn't know the specifics yet of what the organized rescue effort looked like, so he figured if they followed and squeaked at Seth long enough the plan would be explained in more detail than their text had given.
