Remedy a headache

He was feeling tired. Extremely tired infact and he could hardly contain the heavy sigh that had gradually built up in his mind. How long had he spent collecting herbs and bringing them back to his garden in Groveheart, how long had he spent bartering with people in Rivertide to try and get the best deals for seeds- just how much time had he wasted?  The garden that he had been making was in ruins, and the cause of it? The source of his lost time? It was none other than his very own pokemon, Mr. Business. A poisonous ditto who decided that all of these plants looked awfully tasty.

"Mr Business.." Lanca whined the name of the pokemon out as he looked at their smug little face. They didn't even realize that what they had done was wrong and it was honestly giving him a bit of a headache.  No, more than just a bit of a headache. It was giving him a major headache. But this was okay- yeah. This was fine. Taking a deep breath he stood himself up. Okay, so sure most of the garden he had been working on growing was in ruins now but surely something was still okay, right? Ignoring the happy gurgles of the ditto that just ate his garden and tried to take in the full sight.

His numerous berry bushes had been dissolved into nothing. Their previously bright and colorful leaves had turned brown and all the berries were burned straight off the bush.

The mushrooms he had carefully transported up from Sylvangloam and tended to had also disappeared. He had entirely sectioned off a part of his garden to grow them, it had been set up with all sorts of fancy lighting codes, temperature controls, it would mist them with sets amount every day-- everything had been set up to try and make Groveheart perfect for them but now the little grove of mushrooms was simply gone.

Again Lanca's eyes began to shift down to the Ditto and squint at their slime-like form. he hadn't looked too closely at them beforehand, but now that he looked more closely he could practically see it. Inside of them? Inside that jello-like shape? It was a couple of half dissolved mushrooms. "DAMMIT MR. BUSINESS."  He knew that they had ate it- he knew it but gods seeing his hard work inside them being wasted hurt.

At least though, there was one thing left and frankly it was the most important thing. A revival herb. The only reason this precious plant had survived the massacre was because Lanca had it lifted from the ground and out of this pokemon's immediate reach. It had been up on a table in a planter, kept out of reach from where any pokemon of his might be able to get it- and it was exactly what he needed right now. "You're going to be the death of me. You really are. I wanted to make this into a tea, gift it to someone, gain myself some bonus points so they stop looking at me like I spat in their face. But no. Now I need this. For myself."

There was no exaggerations to his words anymore, he needed this. Very gently the Salandit fusion plucked out some of the herbs leaves. Lanca was careful not to damage the plant itself as he did so, he didn't tend to this thing over the last seven months just to accidentally kill it himself.  When he had enough leaves he quickly went to his kitchen to start crushing it up. "you're going to give me a migraine. My head is going to burst." He grumbled quiet complaints about his Pokémon as he focused on crushing up the revival herb. When you had a headache, what would be better than this? Perhaps it was a bit of an overkill for a simple headache but Lanca was determined.

He crushed this little thing until it would become just a fine powder, sifting through it and carefully he went to toss it in a teapot on his countertop. Well, as careful as a man with a splitting headache could possibly be and set it aflame. He would boil it down till everything would become infused with that one herb and he could drink it to ease his suffering- which he was reminded of as Mr. Business came out to him with small squeaks. They seemed very keen in Lanca's mind to remind him about how they had just destroyed all his herbs to leave him with nothing but the revival herb.
