Word Count: 731 | Catching a Ditto/Sableye with a Greatball in Sylvangloam!

Somehow this kept on happening to him and Lanca wasn't sure how. It had started with just one pokemon, he began to wander the world and one pokemon would follow him. Mr. Business, a very good, very cute little ditto who would just eat his papers which. Okay, that was fine? He could have one ditto following him but then soon he had another ditto there. Mr. Puddles. That one had been a bit more problematic. They wouldn't leave, and they cried all the time if they were bored so Lanca had to invest in quite a number of things to keep them happy. After that more and more ditto's had begun to appear and all of them just, followed him. Although whether or not they really followed him  per say, or if they all just followed each other he couldn't say for certain. Either way though, it ended up in a mass of these goo-like creatures at his beck and call.

In this particular instance he found himself in the depths of Sylvangloam, sitting atop a giant mushroom staring down at the sea of pokemon below him. Most of them were ditto's he was already well acquainted with in his part- there was Mr. Puddles, Mr. Business, Jimmy- there were lots of them but one new figure was sitting at the edges. and all of their claw-like fingers were covered in gold. "...Is that mine?"  He asked slowly as he squinted down at them.

He kept feeling ditto's grabbing at his clothing to try and get his attention which is what made him climb up to the top of the mushroom in the first place- and he was now taking note of everything they had taken and those rings? Those rings were definitely his. The pokemon that they were on wasn't a pure ditto like many of the others, instead of those dead, pencil thin eyes and mouth they had jewels. A pair of lovely, blue gemstones where there should be eyes alongside a red gemstone in their chest. A Sableye fusion he was guessing. A sableye fusion who stole from him. Leaning down over the edge of the mushroom Lanca squinted his eyes. "Can I have those back?" He requested and the little creature stared right on back up at him as they spoke.

It was a much more sparkly gaze than usual and he could swear they let out a little giggle. Their little hand raised up to cover their mouth as they laughed and while it was suspicious he certainly didn't think they'd run. That's exactly what they did though.

They ran.

The purple form turned and ran across the ground, disappearing into the darkness of Sylvangloam and Lanca couldn't help but be dismayed. They laughed at him and ran?? Oh absolutely not. Looking to the sea of ditto's who were all playing together he quietly slid backwards off the otherside of the mushroom, landing silently on the floral ground before he began to run in the direction of the ditto. Alright, where did this little pest go. The faint glowing of many of the fungi-life in Sylvangloam never made it easy to do a hunt like this but Lanca was determined and while it wasn't right away, he did eventually start to hear a quiet giggling laugh that made him slow up.

For a thief, they were almost rather cute sounding but that was of little importance as he crouched down low to the ground and crawled forward through the underbrush to approach the little giggling. They were downhill from him, sitting ontop of a small purple mushroom with all the golden rings on their fingers and what looked to be an even greater pile of gold beneath them. Evidently it was not just him that they had been stealing from, they were a quite notorious little klepto. He usually wasn't to keen on purposefully making his hoard of ditto's any bigger but if they were able to get a collection like that, they might not be too bad to have? they could bring them all to his home instead of hiding them away in the mud.

Reaching into his pocket Lanca fumbled around in search of a greatball, his thumb running over it as he would activate it and toss it down the hill. Sending it flying to land directly on this little pokemon's head.
