Pokecenter Help 2

Vasuki huffed as he walked, Haietlik wrapped around his neck and Invidia slithering at his side, he looked over at his other companions who were at his heels, Tiamat floating in the air. 

"I know," he began as they all looked at him, their heads bowed almost in unison. "But I feel like if we don't do something to help, it would show that I'm not a very good trainer, would it?" 

Xuihcoatl seemed to huff in his direction, arms crossed and eyes narrowed. Vasuki couldn't understand him, but he flicked his tongue anyway. "But we do it for free!"

Tiamat scoffed at his words, her own eyes narrowing in his direction. She waggled one of her flipper-like fingers in his direction. "Shame on you!" She scolded.

Haietlik seemed to nod in agreement with Tiamat and hissed in Xuihcoatl's direction. "Shame on you, Xui!"

Invidia, who had been uncharacteristically quiet for a moment, shook her head in their direction. She flicked her tongue again. "We don't even know these people or these Pokemon that well. It's not bad of us to think of our own well-being first!"

Attila nodded, not because he wanted to take sides, but because both sides had good points. "We need to look at all the pros and cons before we rush headlong into this. In the end, we should follow Vasuki's decision. We trust him with our lives as much as he trusts us with his.

All Vasuki knew was that the snakes were all having a conversation, which he didn't quite understand. But it seemed that the hissing had calmed down enough for him to smile at his companions and speak. "Thanks for coming with me, all of you, even though you didn't have to." Acknowledging that, he reached out to stroke each of them gently. "You don't know how much it means to me!"

As their conversation came to an end, Vasuki ended up at the pokecenter he had helped with the day before, with Azura, the zoroark fusion trainer. As he entered the Pokecenter, the workers glanced at him. 

Some seemed to recognise him, while others glanced inquiringly at their team-mates. There was an exchange of words between them all before the one from the day before approached him.

"Welcome back, I see you brought some friends with you?"

Vasuki motioned to them with a smile. "They're all my partner Pokemon, and they wanted to help, even if some of them don't seem too keen on it."

The worker seemed to give them a glance before letting out a sigh of her own. "We won't refuse the help, the Pokemon just keep coming in from outside. If it's not the fires burning in the area, then it's the mergers of the Litwick Lines."

Vasuki frowned, maybe if he volunteered again, he could try to help fight some of the fires? After all, Tiamat should know some kind of water move, or maybe he could teach her one? That was a good thought, it would be good for her to know something other than Dragon Dance!

"Ah, well, I should start before more injured Pokemon take the place, huh?" Vasuki asked, laughing a little, as he put on the apron-like cover he had been wearing before, with the little Pokecenter symbol on it and the words Volunteer Written underneath.

"Oh yes, please go ahead!" She said rather quickly, motioning for him to go ahead and get on with the work they had planned. 

Vasuki quickly went around the Pokecenter to help the Pokemon that needed it, using potions here and there when needed, and watching his own Pokemon, if not directing them as to what to do. 

Haietlik and Tiamat worked quickly together, Haietlik being able to wrap up those who needed hot or cold compresses, and Haietlik being able to provide some sort of static charge to the electric Pokemon who needed some extra charge in their system.

Xuihcoatl and Attila worked on tending to those with more physical injuries, helping to escort them to the centers or out of the center, both of them being strong and with Xuihcoatl's arms it made it a lot easier.

While he tended to his patients, Invidia helped him, never leaving his side for anything, as she brought him potions and other items from a bat, carefully holding them in her mouth or with her tail, depending on the size or width of the object.

There seemed to be several people who were afraid of them, as well as the Pokemon, since they were all snake-like and mostly poisonous. The only one that was non-poisonous and gentle was Tiamat.

Vasuki and they worked well together, helping to reduce the number of injured Pokemon in the Pokecenter, he smiled after wiping his brow and looking at his Serpentine Pokemon as they all seemed to approach him. Some looked exhausted, while others seemed energetic and ready to jump back in and help. 

"Tiring, isn't it?" Vasuki asked her with a smile.

Tiamat nodded, though she was cheerful enough to continue helping, as was Haietlik. Invidia almost scoffed, hissing and turning her head away from them all. Though she wouldn't admit it, Vasuki felt that she actually enjoyed helping others.

Xuihcoatl seemed to be sulking, but a growling stomach showed why, as he wrapped his arms around his belly and narrowed his eyes, showing he was unhappy with the noise it was making. 

"We should take a break soon, as soon as we do I'll make sure we all get something good to eat, how about that? And no, it won't be Ramen Pokemon food either, I'm still working on that."

The sounds they all made made him laugh softly, and he moved to pet each one, his smile only growing. He was glad that none of them seemed to fight or complain too much, not even Attila, even though taking care of others wasn't his thing. Still, it helped in the long run and Vasuki knew that good deeds never went unnoticed.

"Who knows, maybe the Pokecenter will be kind enough to reward us for our efforts, hm?"

That was wishful thinking, he wasn't even doing the job for any reward or pay, he would want someone to do the same for him if he ever got hurt, or his Pokémon.
