[[DNA-T]] Jar Theft 2, Electric Boogaloo

"Okay. this is fine." Lanca said softly. "We are one jar down Mr. Business, but maybe Elijah will enjoy a Houndstone Nera? Make himself a new big dog~ Tell him he can make some kind of guard mutt with them and he'll have a lovely day." Yeah, he didn't really believe that. That freak would be able to make use of a Houndstone  sure but they weren't going to enjoy it. Mr. Business just gave a small sound of bubbling happy agreement though and Lanca sighed. Yeah, Mr. Business didn't understand this was bad he assumed that when Lanca said it was going to be good that it was going to be good! They did not understand sarcasm in the slightest. 

 

Instead of Wintervale, the pair had now traveled down to Rivertide in search of a Tentacruel. That would be big, that would be scary- and no doubt Elijah could make a wonderful nightmare with one of them. That was his new coarse of action and he just had to hope that none of the other jars would be wasted before then. "We'll just avoid that good ol friend of ours down here~ Be in and out~ And-" He stopped talking.

 

In his search for a tentacruel he had gone down an alleyway to try and reach the oceanside sooner but there was a pokemon standing blocking his path. A persian, and the sight of it made his lips curl up. "Ugh, doesn't this guy kinda remind you of that bastard Mr. business?" Lanca asked in some degree of disgust at the sight. He'd always had something against the more cat-like of pokemon, they just reminded him of someone unpleasant. "I know that man likes to collect mice instead of cats, but that's exactly what this kinda pokemon does as well ain't it?" 

 

The Persian stared at him as he spoke ill of it, their red eyes narrowing and staring unhappily between him and Mr Business. The little poisonous ditto had been following very dutifully behind Lanca's every step and as it saw the persian it didn't feel the same disgust as his owner- it felt a sense of joy! Wriggling his little purple arms in the air and soon coughed up the bone that was in his body to spit it in the direction of the persian. A gesture of peace and goodwill- but one that was taken more as a threat and Lanca watched how their fur began to rise up. 

 

"...Oh come on. How many times do I have to tell you that you don't make friends doing that Mr. Business." The Salandite fusion said in some degree of dismay before yelping as the pokemon hissed and lunged in their direction. He quickly stepped backwards to avoid it's claws and while it didn't hurt him at all- they did snag his bag and he felt how it slipped from his shoulders. The very same bag, that held all the Nera jars he was here to try and see if he could get filled with DNA.

 

You had to be absolutely kidding him. While this pokemon took his bag and attempted to run with it wrapped around their one paw Lanca wasn't going to let go of them that easily. His hands reached out to grab it's tail before it could scamper away and he heard it yowl at the grab. "Don't yell at me so loudly! You don't want what I have in there" he snapped out as he reached forward to try and grapple with this pokemon. 

 

If one of these jars for whatever reason activated and captured the DNA of a goddamn persian, he would lose his mind. First the Houndstone, secondly potentially a persian- both of which because he was either distracted by Mr. Business, or because Mr. Business had aggravated them.  He really should just put that Ditto into their pokeball, but that was a problem for later. Because right now, he had a persian chewing his arm while being caught in the straps of his bag. A bag, which held a series of very delicate jars that seemed to like to activate and capture some form of DNA at random. Perhaps this whole catching Pokemon DNA just wasn't a gig for him.
