The Monster in the House...

Vasuki had to leave his Pokemon at home for the day; he had to run to the store, and he didn't want to take all of them, especially after the exhausting battle they'd had. So he ended up leaving with three of the Pokemon that seemed up for the fight, leaving Haietlik and Tiamat alone in the house.

A little confused about what to do, Haietlik and Tiamat both slithered through the house, Tiamat was able to open the back door and they could go out into the yard and sun themselves. They did so for part of the day, enjoying the sun warming their scales and the gentle breeze blowing past. Not that Vasuki had a big house or anything, it was a small two bedroom house with not many other rooms. There was one thing that Vasuki had in the house, though, that scared the two creatures when it was on.

Their beautiful day outside had been ruined by rain clouds, and while they both enjoyed the rain - Tiamat was a dual water-dragon type, and Haietlik was part electric - neither of them wanted to accidentally cause unnecessary damage to the surrounding buildings in case lightning struck Haietlik or Tiamat sneezed or breathed. The two retreated into the house, Tiamat closing and locking the door behind them.

Once inside, however, a noise caught their attention, lightning flashed outside, and the lights in the house began to flicker. Trying to be brave, they both swallowed a lump that formed and looked at each other.

"It's nothing, right?" Haietlik whispered to Tiamat, moving closer to her friend. "Just the storm outside?"

Another flash of lightning and what sounded like a whirring roar echoed through the now quiet house.

"Y-yeah j-just the storm," Tiamat whispered back.

The two snakes cuddled up on the couch and watched the television as the news reported on the weather, the whirring sound getting louder and louder. Neither of them wanted to check it out, too afraid to find the beast in the house, so to speak. Finally, when the storm seemed to die down a bit, they gained some confidence and both of them slipped off the couch towards the back of the house.

Slowly they crept closer and closer, the noise growing louder and louder until Tiamat put her hand on the doorknob and it creaked eerily open. As the door opened and the roar was at it's loudest, lightning struck again, causing the lights to flicker and the noise to become a low rumbling sound. Spooking both snakes, they backed away from the creature and decided to wait until Vasuki got home! They wouldn't have to be afraid when their trainer returned; he would know what was wrong!

Haietlik and Tiamat didn't realize that the whirring noise was actually the washer and dryer as they went through their spin cycles and drying cycles. The low rumble was when the lights were flashing, threatening the power to the house. But neither of them wanted to go back to check, and if it was a monster, would it eventually come out on its own? They decided to change the channels from the weather and anything scary to something more suitable to calm them down. The extra noise helped them forget that there was a monster in the house, why it was a stationary creature... well, neither of them would ever find out.

Tiamat has Storm Drain - Gives +1 EXP to another pokemon

Haietlik has Motor Drive - Gives +1 EXP to another pokemon

Vasuki left Haietlik and Tiamat at the house alone so they can recuperate and relax while he went out shopping. He didn't realize just how horrifying being inside of a house with a 'monster' well tehcnically TWO monters could be for them. The poor babbins!

Tiamat has gained +2 EXP
