Befriend the kid, befriend the father- Befriend the kid, befriend the father! He didn't want to befriend the kid. This kid was so problematic and troublesome, more times than not he just got himself in trouble and Lanca would have to go save his ass instead of being able to do what their initial goal was. If they weren't Noir's kid then more likely than not he would have gone off and let them go die in the fires but that just wasn't an option for the moment. He stood with his back against the much shorter man's, the two of them staring at the flickering world that surrounding them.

This whole Groudon attack was quite problematic and fires were overtaking this entire section of Brookfell. Lanca wasn't particularly worried, at his feet he had Mr. Puddles, a small water ditto who honestly was perfect for putting out fires-- assuming that he didn't just turn into steam first. Then at Honey's feet he had his little Corsola Mikikyu who Lanca knew full well was perfectly suited to this as well. "What are you sweating for so much, Honey? You're the one who decided that yes, this spot right here. This is where we should go" Lanca asked as he felt them pressing harder against him as a flicker of the fire came a bit too close for the orange haired mans comfort.

"I don't know, could just be kind of hot right now. You know, we're surrounded by flames right now on all sides. Seems like the time and place to be sweating?" Lanca merely snorted at those words and looked down at the two pokemon at their feet. Quietly he nudged at Mr. Puddles specifically who had completely enveloped his foot. The little pokemon made a tiny sound at the movement and looked up at him. Their eyes looked filled with tears and Lanca just raised an eyebrow. Come on Mr. Puddles. You know what he was wanting, and Mr. Puddles just made another small sound in his direction.

Despite being a water type that was strong against fire, Mr. Puddles still felt an untold amount of fear towards the flames and merely whined as he was urged to try and put them out. Four however, was very different than Mr. Puddles. The little Corsola was extraordinarily excited about the fires. Ever since they had come out of Honey's arms to be set back down on the ground they had been squeaking and trilling at the flames in an uncontrolled excitement. It was so excited in fact that it was almost a little suspicious.

Honey had been concerned by the little mimikyu and that they might get burned, but they held such an odd, confident swagger that it was hard to believe that these flames would be dangerous at all. Whatever they were trying to convey, they were very passionate about it and as Mr. Puddles was urged to start putting the fires out by Lanca, Honey did the same with them. While the ditto didn't move, Four did and a stream of water shot forth from them towards the fires that surrounded them.
