[Rank-Up]Learning about Influence + Shurtle Line

Haku was sitting on the couch, his eyes focused on his television since he was trying to relax now that he was back home and the day was winding down, he had some food and his pokemon curled up against him, asleep. Kazame was awake and watching the television with Haku as well, and Haku moved his hand down to gently pat the small turtle pokemon with a smile. Though his eyes turned back to the television when the announcer mentioned they were going to cover the Shurtle species, Haku was a little interested in this, since he did have a shuttle as well. 

The announcer went on to speak with a shuttle breeder, who seemed to explain their personalities rather well as a small shuttle, and even went on to the Sheltile which was their second form. Haku noted that he would need to get some chew things for Kazame when he evolved into a Sheltile probably, so he wouldn’t try biting things that he shouldn’t. Haku did chuckle somewhat though, thinking about it, he’d be able to pick on his friends, for all of the tricks they picked on him for. The last thing the announcer spoke about were the Caratoise and how they took in the warmth and stored it in their claws. They were known as guard dogs for business owners, as well as digging holes in the ground to sleep.

But then something a bit more interesting happened while the announcer was talking to this breeder, they brought out a Sheltile and one that didn’t look like the others. They went on to explain about the influence of technology on the Sheltile and Caratoise. It changed their body color and their shell, and how they operated entirely. Kazame perked up a bit more, staring at the television as they showed the large Caratoise that had a blue-purple gradient shell, and a softer look on its face. Kazame let out a soft noise, and looked to Haku.

“What? You like that form of your species?” Haku inquired, and turned back to the television. They were good around babies and baby pokemon, rather gentle. 

All of this was new information to Haku, and as they went on to explain about Caratoise and even how to get one, he started to think. He’d have to make sure that Kazame would be alright with it, as he didn’t want to force his pokemon to do something it didn’t want or wouldn’t want to do. He smiled toward his friend, and then finally nodded a bit.

“Educating one’s self can be helpful, maybe we’ll see about getting you one of those nano chip things and getting you influenced. Hopefully it’s not painful for you, I’d hate to put you through that,” he whispered to his small friend, petting Kazame’s head.

Kazame let out a soft squeak, nuzzling gently against the hand that brushed against his head and his shell, nodding a little and moving to get into Haku’s lap since his lap was free and there wasn’t anything obstructing it.

Haku allowed him to do so, and smiled almost fondly at the small pokemon, he looked back up to the television as the program shifted to the Synthenine line. It must be a special or something explaining the starters and their influenced forms. At least Haku learned some new things about Kazame, helpful things so he could better be prepared!
