[RU] Learning About Grimm

I’ve come to notice that Grimm displays some odd behaviors at times that seem to stem from his houndour and his murkrow fusion. Little quirks that both pokemon have about one another, I figured they would have been snuffed out due to fusing or having combined the similar quirks each other has. That doesn’t seem to be the case however, Grimm still seems to retain the need to howl at times, whether that's to claim ownership over me, our house… or just this territory. Sometimes I think I can hear the neighbors complain about the howling and I have tried to stop him, but to no avail.

Not only do I see that behavior, but his need and want to play with his toys, I don’t usually see this in Murkrows, but perhaps there’s an underlying case to this. The toy that he currently has and is squeaking is a shiny-colored toy, it glistens when the light hits it. I’m not sure if it's the hoarding half of the Murkrow that allows him to play with it or if it's… well just his nature.

Oh… one moment…

Sorry about that, Grimm brought his toy over so I could throw it. I have noticed in his behaviors that he is highly territorial of his home and of me, he doesn’t like strangers all too well getting too close to either of us. Why he wasn’t even friendly at first to our new teammate, the little Cutiefly/Carbink I’ve dubbed as Opal. She’s a real sweetheart…

Oh that brings me to the hoarding aspect, I’ve noticed he tries to go after her a lot, I’ve seen him carrying her, while she frantically tries to escape, to his hoard and placing her down within it. He gets so angry when she doesn’t seem like she’s there anymore and he chases her back down. That has to be it, right?

Who knew fusions could be so interesting as they are, I have yet to get to observe Opal’s behaviors, but once I do, I will jot them back down in my journal for record keeping, what better ways to capture memories other than through photos that never tell the entire story. At least with this, I can keep referring back to it if something puzzles me.

Melody slowly closed off her TD, letting the screen disappear as Grimm brought the toy back over to her, wagging his short tail back and forth and she smiled fondly at her pokemon partner. “You really like this toy huh? What’s gonna happen when you break it?”

Grimm didn’t seem to notice the words break, and instead he ran after the ball once it was tossed. He didn’t bring it back this time, instead as he squeaked it he happily pranced over to the small stash of shiny objects he’s gathered while being with Melody. The toy was placed gently on the stack, along with a few other things, and he pawed at some of them to rearrange them.

As he did this, something small with shimmering gems darted from the pile since he was distracted and quickly flew over to her trainer, her eyes showing her wariness and annoyance,as she landed on Melody’s shoulder.

“I’m sorry Opal,” she fondly giggled, moving a finger to softly pet the small cutiefly there now. “I’ll try to make sure he doesn’t get you next time.”
