[[GE1]] [GHE]Journal Entry: Grovehart

Ah it felt good to be back home where I belonged, the trips to the other cities were great for the most part, I’ve learned so much about the other cities and their customs, well except for Brookfell because… well that place will never change in my mind. I never want to go back to that city, or at least I don’t want to live there anymore.

But not I was home where I belonged, seeing the plants coming out of buildings, as the buildings were built into the forest, natural and beautiful either way, I was relieved to see the familiarity here and I walked through the luscious grass that was around our feet, Grimm happily trotting beside of me and Opal fluttering happily. I was going to visit my mom this time before heading back to the apartment that I had in this beautiful city, but I had yet to take in some of the sights in Grovehart, being as busy as I was and wanting to make sure I get to see the other areas. 

I could go and see the Sakura District and how pretty it was, or maybe I should visit one of the large gardens instead, that had many plants and trainers were allowed to walk among them as long as we didn’t damage any of them? I thought about it, and as I looked at Opal and Grimm, that would probably be the better option. If we went to the Sakura district, Opal might get irritated trying to smell or land on the trees and being unable to because… well they were holographic and not real.

Grimm may not be a fan of the flowers, but we’ll see. The two looked at me, as I had stopped in my movements and I gave a smile to them both to reassure them I was fine. They would continue to follow my lead, and I stopped at one of the large open gardens one could walk through. My eyes viewed the beautiful flowers, the different array of colors and species that were clustered together. There was even a small pond that wrapped around the area, like a little park area almost.

Grimm seemed to roll in the grass that had no flowers in it, enjoying the way it felt on his fur, I assume, his wings frayed out as he did so and scratched his back. My eyes then went to Opal, who was inspecting the flowers and pressing her body against them, nuzzling up on them and gaining the pollen on her small legs and fuzzy body. I was happy to see that they were as happy as they seemed to be.

I walked over to one of the benches and laid back against it, bringing up my TD while they played or rolled around, I decided to bring up one of the info-books that was on the TD, picking up where I had last left off on the book, and letting my pokemon roam free through Grovehart. I was reading up on the park, the information it had as well as the types of flowers and plants that were present in the park. 

I was glad to see that there weren't any dangerous plants unless there was a pokemon among the foliage and greenery, so that was a relief. I wouldn't have to worry about Opal accidentally getting hurt, or Grimm getting caught on something he wasn’t supposed to. I didn’t worry about where they were until neither of them was within my sight anymore. Worried, I closed off the screen and got up to start looking for them frantically, I hadn’t expected either of them to run off.

I finally found them after about thirty minutes of going around the park looking for them. I had my arms crossed before my chest when I found them asleep underneath a large tree, Opal laying on Grimm’s head to keep herself from getting lost in the grass beneath Grimm’s paws. I sighed, mostly in relief, but I was a little angry that they would just go running off, whether Grovehart was pretty safe or not, that wasn’t even the point. 

“Grimm, Opal wake up, it's time for us to go home if you’re going to sleep here. That way I won’t have to worry about where you ended up disappearing to.”

They seemed to give a saddened look, but stood up anyways and started to follow me so we could head back home. I would finish that document in the park later, when I didn’t have some pokemon to babysit that were little gremlins at times.
