Community Service - 684 Words
The embarrassment that Honey felt could not be put into words. To think he'd have been caught for such a silly small little joke in the safety of his own home? Even more so after he took so many precautions to try and ensure he wouldn't get caught. It was all for naught though, thwarted by a friend of Seth's. His face burned in shame at the thought. Noir must have been so disappointed in him huh? Thankfully it had been a small charge- sure he was caught editing a TD by a visiting friend of Seth's who promptly turned him in... but he didn't have to spend time behind bars. He'd been cleared to simply do some community service which outside of the dreadful outfit he was put in really wasn't all that bad.
Honey was wearing bright orange, set loose out in a park to pick up litter for the next while with some police supervision. Who was the supervision? None other than his lovely boyfriend who got him stuck in this situation in the first place. "... You're not mad at me about this are you?" He asked and Honey let out a sigh. In one hand he held a bag, in the other? He was holding up what looked to be a beer bottle that had been thrown on the ground. He wasn't one for drinking but a part of him almost could as he heard the nervous voice behind him.
"... No, I'm not mad." Honey said lightly as he tossed the bottle into the bag and continued forward. There were papers, cigarettes, wrappers, food- the things people just left laying around was honestly disgusting. If he could he'd want to bring his pokemon out to help with this- but that wasn't allowed.
"It is kind of on you though." Seth continued and Honey shifted his latest find in his hands for a moment, looking at the wrapper intensely. What kind of wrapper was it... Candy? No. Some kind of peanut snack? Maybe. Who even likes peanuts now a days? "You live with a cop, and sometimes cops bring home friends who are other cops!" he was somehow trying to justify this but his words were droned out as Honey stuffed the definitely peanut themed food into the garbage bag. "So criminal activity really shouldn't be done at home. If at all?"
Honey had wandered off further now to find what looked to be the wrapping of a hotdog. There was still some ketchup on it and Honey held it out at arms length. "Say, Seth... Mr. Police supervisor of this lowly convict? Are you sure you should be talking this much?" Setting his main black bag down he turned to wander up to the taller man with the hotdog wrapper in hand. Honey came to stand in front of him before leaning up to give them a small kiss on the cheek. "You're being distracting. If you keep this up I will stuff this wrapper down your shirt."
A mild threat, but one that worked as Seth quickly went quiet. Or at least what Honey hoped was quiet but that was nothing more than Honey's own delusions. "...You know threatening your supervising officer could result in more hours tacked on?"
"Oh for crying out loud..." Turning himself around he left Seth behind. He returned to the garbage bag to stuff the wrapper into it and drag it behind him as he traversed further
"So maybe you should apologize?? I wouldn't look good in ketchup you know!!! ...Honey? Babe?? ...I love you?"
"I love you too, Mr. Supervising Officer." Honey could hear Seth continue to babble behind him but he didn't listen to it any further. His words truly disappeared entirely into the hum and buzz of the city as Honey scanned the surroundings for more trash as he was supposed to do. At first he had looked at his given hours as nothing, that it would pass easily but now having Seth's guilty rambles joining in with it made him realize just how long his community service was going to be.
