Tracking Pokemon
Tracking pokemon is an activity trainer's can partake in once they have the appropriate license. License in hand, they can then go into the wilds around the region and track down new pokemon. The pokemon encountered will always be randomized based on the types available in the slected location, and has a chance to be mutated or contain a special attribute!
Earn your License!Battling Pokemon
A battle is begun when a trainer finds a pokemon after tracking. They are pinged in the discord appropriate channel and are given a chance to respond. If they do not respond within a certain amount of time, the pokemon will be considered wild and will be able to attack the trainer. If the trainer does respond, they will be given a chance to battle the pokemon. If they win, they will be able to capture the pokemon if they have the correct ball, and add it to their collection. If they lose, the pokemon is free to go.
Items that affect battles must be stated and used in the tracking prompt, and will only be consumed if a battle is initiated.
Battling is an automated process by the admins, who roll the encounter to determine the "winner". A pokemon with a full moveset will have a greater chance of winning a pokemon battle, especially as wild pokemon of higher stages can be encountered.
Tracking PromptTeaching Moves
Pokemon can be taught any move available to them based on their type, and level, according to our moveset document. To learn a new move, simply draw that pokemon performing the attack (no illustration needed), and submit it to the correct prompt to get it added to that pokemon's moveset. A pokemon may only know 4 moves at a time, and will need a new image for each new move to be learned.
Moves can be taught to pokemon at any time, and will be added to their moveset as soon as the image is approved.
When learning a new move over the limit of 4, you will be able to choose which move is replaced at the time of submission.
