Influenced Pokemon
Influenced pokemon are exclusive to the Reignsrest region, and are a relatively recent developement over the years as technology has expanded and began being integrated into both nature and humans. Trainer owned pokemon are now able to evolve and become Influenced when exposed to influential technologies such as Nano tech, Advanced Energy sources, and the Core/TD systems and cybernetics in Trainers.History of Influenced Pokemon
Influenced pokemon began appearing after technology advanced so far that they were able to interact with it in a meaningful way, the energy in their bodies resonating with the energy in certain types of advanced technology much like an evolution stone. After this discovery, influenced pokemon began popping up around the region - always trainer owned, and always fromm an exposure to high-energy level tech, such as nano tech, solar power, and the technology used to power and maintain cores and systems within a trainer.
Trainers began seeking ways to 'evolve' their pokemon through the use of technology, and discovered the method for replication of the strange phenomenon, thus allowing influenced pokemon to become more widespread.
Influenced Pokemon and their new Form
Influenced pokemon always take on the secondary typing of Electric, regardless of the Pedigree or Fusion they were before. The influence of technology strong enough to 'evolve' a pokemon in this way is unable to be overwritten by anything.
While their new form does not offer them any additional features, their altered features can be quite diverse and up to interpretation.
Limitations and Dangers of Influenced Pokemon
While unique and interesting, innfluenced pokemon are considered unnatural in the region as they can only be created with exposure and direct influence to advanced technology. That means there will never be wild pokemon that are influenced.
The Electric typing of an influenced pokemon can never be removed. If an electric Pokemon is Influenced, it will remain Electric/Electric unless an elemental Nera is used to replace one of them.
Influencing a pokemon is as stressful as fusion, and therefore takes up one of the three modification slots a pokemon has - and cannot be removed.
An influenced pokemon can only have 4 areas of their body modified into tech-variants of their natural forms.
A pokemon can only be Influenced during evolution, if they are already stage 3 they cannot be influenced!
Designing an Influenced Pokemon
There are nearly limitless options for designing an influenced pokemon, and many influenced pokemon of even the same species will look drastically different depending on the players choices. Below are some guidelines on how to design an influenced pokemon.Regions
An influenced pokemon can have up to 4 (applicable) regions influenced. They cannot have regions added if their natural form does not already have them. For example: If a pokemon does not naturally have horns, you cannot great influenced horns to use in that region.
Influenced Style
When editing the regions of a pokemon, they must still physically resemble the original trait. For example: A tail cannot be made into pure electric energy if it was previously a solid part of the body.Influenced regions of the body should resemble technology - not the electric typing. This is not a delta pokemon, but something unique, so the design should reflect types of technology instead of pure element.
