Influenced pokemon have been teased since the release of the regions starters, but now trainers can influence their very own pokemon through a process much like evolution! No pokemon is exempt from this ability, though there are a few rules and requirements before the Influenced state can be achieved. New Pokemon Abilities Update

Pokemon abilities have received a massive overhaul, to make them more useful to people and characters. We had a lot of battle themed or tracking themed abilities which were almost completely unused, so we've reworked them and balanced them so pokemon of all levels and types have something immediatly useful they can choose!

If you'd like to change the ability of your pokemon, you may do so by submitting a claim (multiple pokemon per claim is fine!). Normally abilities can only be exchanged during evolution, but because of this big update we're opening it up for every player ONCE outside of evolution.

A Mysterious Owl spotted in Wintervale... New Pokemon Form

In the blizzard filled wilds around Wintervale, a new regional variant of a familiar pokemon has been spotted! The Hoothoot and Noctowl pokemon can now be designed with the Reignsrest Variant in mind, and any existing Hoothoots can evolve into their new form if they so desire!
